Not too much to do there. We were dissappointed by the himba visit, the guide spoke very limited english and it wasn't possible to discuss with himba's. Also, they were very few himbas in the village. The camp site was very nice. large and good shower.

Sleeping in the tents next to the river was an amazing experience, like the kayaking we had the possibility to do

much too expensive for the quality of the lodge. No electricity in room, no toaster, bad service

Haagh, Jan - 06th Jul, 2017

This was definitely the best feel good experience of our trip ! We had the chance to meet the owner who was here in holidays with her family, and proposed us some upgrade at a great price to move into the tented bungalows which are really well designed and perfectly situated along the river in a beautiful garden. Dinners and breakfasts here are generous and excellent. Dining along the river with singing birds and the view is a paradise feeling ! Staff is here also exceptionnally nice and considerate. The road from Anderson Gate to Epupa took us 5 hours (2 hours to reach Opuwo and 3 hours from Opuwo to Epupa). The road was in good conditions.

Very nice people. Tidy decorated tent, waiting for guests!!! Simon very helpful and so that our car was washed on morning of departure, no one asking for it.

Lybeck, Stig Olof - 12th Apr, 2016

Warm welcome and friendly staff. Comfortable for a camp. We booked the Himba tour which was very interersting, due in a large part to the translations and comments of the guide Manuel.

Mondot, Jm - 17th Oct, 2015

We were booked for three nights but reduced to two. Although the place has plenty of potential in an extraordinary part of the country, the camp does not make the most of it. It would be good if the camp developed a portfolio of different activities made available to clients who stay longer than one night. For example, there are no marked walking trails, the area around the camp along the river is dirty with litter, and it would be a good idea if all three lodges worked together with the community to clear the litter and keep the area clean.
