The campsite was easy to find and a good location as a stopping point. The watering hole was a great opportunity to spot wildlife in the evenings. The facilities was (electricity point, water, a light) and bathroom facilities were clean and handy. The staff were difficult to get hold of for check in and not very helpful.
In the park, probably one of the best because not crowded. Interesting concept to follow-up the wild from the observatory.
the best place to watch at animals
Excellent. Best camping place in Etosha
Very nice place but when we arrived there was no electricity, so no light, no showers during the night...
Cool. Doesnt look very New. Great staff, cool atmosphere, a lot of privacy
This is a great campsite and friendly staff. Definitely coming back here.
Quietest part of Etosha. We barely saw other tourists. It was nicely set apart. The watering hole was really cool with the screens.
Olifantsrus is a magical place! We enjoyed our night there very much! We were warmly welcome by the staff and we appreciated the intimacy of this small campsite far from everything.
Very nice, not over-crowded camp, very helpful staff. Amazing waterhole watch-out
This is one place to experiment in Etosha ! The campsite is basic, facilities are basic also but the most important is the location, in the heart of the west part of the park, and the wooden bridge and lookout settled on a waterhole and equiped with a red light at night. This equipment allows visitors to see nocturnal activities of animal and we had the chance to watch black rhinos coming here with a baby ! This was magical ! And star gazing here was also excellent. From Okaukuejo, we took 3 hours to come, taking into account the numerous stops on the roa to watch animal and take pictures.
Very nice and informal camp (only) site. Highly recommended. (Actually the only site in Etosha where I saw any big animal (black rhino).
Simple but elegant architecture. Helpful and smiling staff, but some of them at times to busy talking in their mobile phones - making you afraid of disturbing them. (Talking and talking in front of bathrooms). Fantastic watching tower; we saw an elephant!- really the highlight.
The best campsite in Etosha
Basic, but nice waterhole to spot a lot of animals close to the campsite.
Friendly staff - nice to have a place only for campers - loved the waterhole
By far the best camp in Etosha for us. The staff could not be friendlier, super helpful, everyone was lovely and the atmosphere was better than at the others (the other Etosha camps were busy and had lots of noise / partying / music etc). This was quiet and the wildlife was outstanding. Facilities were top-notch too! Excellent!
Really lovely small campsite - made better by the fact there was no lodge! The presence of a floodlit hide was excellent and gave the opprtuniity to see rhino at close quarters. Good facilities - friendly helpful staff
Beautiful, very new, more quite than Halali, great waterhole. Good experience
Fairly new but a bit disappointing. There was no hot water in the showers, and there are only 2 showers for the whole campsite. Waterhole was great though.
Very basic campsite... nothing to buy (not even wood), so guests need to bring everything they need. Worth going for the view on the animals.
very nice campsite and the the staff very welcoming
Appears bleak at first (bare sand) but adequate shade, helpful staff and really good hide above waterhole, illuminated at night - black rhinos, elephant and other species, lions roaring just outside the fence at night. Recommended.
Excellent remote campsite with exceptional waterhole. Shame no night drives.
A well built site that was so clean you could eat off the floor. Helpful staff Good waterhole viewing Would benefit from a table/worktop in the Braai area to do your kitchen stuff and some shade. Last why not put some gravel paths between pitches and the ablutions block.
The camp site is very new, the staff very friendly and smiling. The history of this place is not very nice to hear but it is fantastic how things can be changed! The waterhole is very exclusive and comfortable and you are in the middle of the Etosha park!! Warmly recommended!
Really friendly staff, unique location. We could hear the lions roaring one night just beyond the fence. Waterhole also good. First night we saw a rhino right beneath us which was amazing. Second day we spent an enjoyable hour watching all the animals gathering around the fringes of the waterhole until they plucked up the courage to all come and drink then there were hundreds of zebra, springbok, red hartebeest, wildebeest, warthogs etc right below us.
Nice campsite in a even more beautiful area of Etosha. Lot of animals around and they have a very nice waterhole.
Even though it's still under construction this may have been my favorite camp in Etosha. The camp and entire area were so quiet and mellow. Hope it doesn't become over developed too soon.
Nice new campsite.
It was fantastic, I highly recommend this campsite.
