Definitely the best lodge we stayed at and one of the highlight of our trip. Very exclusive and luxury service

We traveled the time in Africa as selfdrivers only - we stayed in our last journey in 16 diff. lodges/ Wolvedans is our Nr. 1 in location, environment, nature, service - absolutly OUTSTANDING.

Rough road going in, had a flat. It was 38-39 degrees and I didn't expect air conditioning but a fan would have been nice. Tent roof and with the wind it flapped loudly all night. Activities are limited.

A really friendly place where everyone gets together for drinks round the fire before all sharing a table for dinner.

King, Sarah - 21st Sep, 2015

Spectacular, I was dubious about the price but spectacular.

Humphries, Liam - 24th May, 2015

Outstanding, nothing more can be said about this. Best lodge I have ever been to

Siefken, Dirk - 12th Jan, 2015

attentive staff. Food was excellent. We could use hairdryers but not in the rooms. Very interesting evening and morning drives with driver assigned to us for our stay. Driver was friendly and brought us to see the wonderful scenery in the area. Hot water bottles in our beds every night. Tour vehicles were again hard to climb to get to our seats

The loveliest most magical lodge in the world

Equal to Camp Moremi as highlight of our trip. Amazing place and 5 courses dinner :).

Vulpe, Lucian - 26th Sep, 2013

Wonderful located, but the services is not very good for what you pay. (the guide was though!)

Boesen, Jan - 23rd Sep, 2013

Absolutely beautiful but the relation price-service is wrong. Manager very pretentious, so the attitude of the waiter...........our guide was brilliant so !

Ulrike - 29th Aug, 2013

Fantastic location. Professional guides. The food pretty good (less good then Okonjima Tented camp and Onguma Tented Camp.)

The Namibrand Nature Reserve is of an undescribable beauty. We absolutely loved going there and it was my top number of place from all the places we stayed.

The Namib Rand is a unique landscape, and one of the most beautiful we have experienced, and Wolwedans Dune Lodge is exquisitely positioned in it, and is the only lodge in the huge Namib Rand conservancy. This landscape was for me an almost spiritual experience, and for widely experienced travellers this lodge and its landscapes have to go into our global top 5 (and I don`t order these). It is expensive, but to experience this landscape on a virtually solitary basis is wonderful and frankly priceless. We stayed 2 nights, and wished we`d stayed longer. The way that the business end of things is dealt with a 15 minute drive away from and out of sight of the lodge itself simply highlights the thought and planning which has gone into this. The suites are beautifully done. Food was very good. The desert walk fascinating and surprising and I will say no more so as not to spoil it for you. But the drives in the reserve are the true highlight, and memories of the beauty of that landscape and the light are unforgettable. The fact that you are reading this review means that you are considering a visit to Namibia, in my view Wolwedans is a must.

Really great place to stay, landscape is beautiful. We feel it should be mentioned that Woldwedans supports NICE.. As some people may be bothered by the fact everyone working there is a trainee.. We didn`t mind but for the money we paid to stay, we feel it should have been mentioned.

Davis, Simone - 07th Nov, 2012

Luxury stay, perfect staff, breathtaking landscape. We personally like the Wolwedans Dunes camp (last stay) a little bit more than the Wolwedans dunes Lodge since it was even more remote.

Ritz, Nicoletta & Udo - 09th Apr, 2012

Unbelievable. It's not a lodge, it's an experience. Very expensive but it was worth it.
