Having staid at Waterberg we could have skipped this lodge with a similar set-up (same owner). However, we liked it for the comfort of our stay (again the place was not busy at all). We enjoyed the slightly strenous cave activity with two nice guides just for us, and the fact that we could see the baby rhinos just at the farm's waterhole. The little minus was that the inside restaurant was a bit small for the (though few) people they had overnight, as they could not use the terrace during winter time. In the end, very relaxed experience but a bit on the expensive side (compared to Waterberg Valley Lodge, but of course much more comfortable rooms)

Not one of our favorites. Room was comfortable enough, though kind of dark. Nice little front porch. Liked the blind at the waterhole, our first on the trip. Nice grounds, with an interesting history. Food was average. Most of the staff seemed unenthusiastic except the bar man who explained a lot of history.

Very nice place, comfortable rooms, huge gardens, nice people. We were feeling like In an oasis surrounded by the bush. We would have like to remain a second night, but no time any more !

Fantastic camp sites (3 only). If you have a choice, campsite 3 gives the most privacy and has two bathrooms! Hot water is provided via and old fashioned donkey, which works really well and needs only 20 minutes. (Each campsite has its own ablutions.) Beautiful views towards the valley. The staff were really friendly and helpful. As I was the only guest on the farm that night, a visit to the Ghaub caves was not almost not possible, but they made a plan and we did manage to go spelunking, which was an awesome experience. Wifi and cellphone coverage at reception only.

Wonderful site! Stunning views, well-maintained, great facilities, helpful and friendly staff. Swimming pool was a little disappointing as the water really didn`t look very clean so we decided again a dip in the end! The cave tour is fantastic. Great fun and really interesting, and a brilliant guide, really knowledgeable. It is quite physically demanding though, so worth considering that if you`re not normally a very active person. There`s not an awful lot else in the local area, just farmland really, which is a shame as we would have loved to stay here longer if there was more to do/wild areas to explore nearby.

We were alone there! It was lovely! The place was very bucolic and quite!

Very nice place, secluded and still good to reach. Very well maintained. Very good price/service ratio. Very nice staff, especially facility manager very friendly, helpful and exerted to be of service in any regard. Absolutely recommendable.
