Wonderful time at Onguma, loved the hide.
A beautiful place to stay, great service, clean, friendly, great game drives.
We thought this was a well-run camp and a nice place to start our trip. Good food, excellent luxury tents with view of waterhole, and close proximity to Etosha for self-drives, which we desired. Our privacy was respected, and there was no pressure to do the organized activities, which we appreciated.
Very comfortable and well located. Excellent nature walk in morning.
Meals were great at this camp, as were the rooms. Service was good but the staff weren't as warm as those at other lodges.
Very nice. But for the money, i wouldn`t recommend. Tree top was nicer experience.
Very luxurious but perhaps not the freindliest of places. We were here for our 30th wedding anniversary which they may not have known about. Had they known it would have been nice to have had some acknowledgement of this - even a nice greeting in the morning.
Everything here wa perfect - but maybe a little too perfect. Staff was extremely efficient and ready to cater to every need, but I sometimes felt a little uncomfortable staying is such an expenive place.
Very beautiful, the most luxury place we spent the night, very good meal,
The tented camp was amazing...beautiful setting over the waterhole with excellent facilities and staff.
We enjoyed the place, the tents are very nicely decorated, but we really loved the food.
Wonderful camp. Excellent quality
`So close, but yet so far.` We had high hopes for our first lodge, but were a little disappointed. Yes, all luxury facilities are there (including a pool, which was rather cold unfortunately), but the lodge didn`t have the right atmosphere. The staff was rather commercial (constantly offering game-drives and informating about our plans for the next days) and the waterhole unfortunately didn`t deliver the game we had expected. Rating: 6/10.
Wonderful tented accommodation. The best in Etosha. Good food and service.
Everythings was good! Very good chef. Professional guides.
Loved it! Friendly, comfortable (luxurious) and animals up very close. A must for any trip.
Just 12 km. outside the Etosha Park it is a very luxury and small camp. Not a lot of animals but very peaceful place. Nice food.
Really excellent stylish camp. Made to feel very special with the service offered by the staff. Food outstanding, with homemade soups and breads the standout. The only draw back is the sparse game around the lodge, we saw very little on a night drive but Etosha is so near they share a fence. We saw a rhino on the way out the other side of the fence.
Truly wonderful setting, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
excellent food and attentive service. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days of luxury.
Great - well managed, good food, lovely rooms and waterhole.
The accommodation is far from the park so it forces you to drive many hours to Etosha. The waterhole has some small animals Porl is not interesting. Yes the accommodation is very good and the attention and food are excellent.
I picked this place... loved the decor. My husband did not think it was worth the extra money. Perhaps in the dry season if there are animals at the water hole it could be magical.
The best accommodation. Really good. We would have prefered to stay here two nights
