Looks like any european hotel and consequently lacks some human or namibian ambiance.
A bit commercial with all the bus tour groups, but a lovely stay
Location great on sea. Perhaps when recommending you should suggest Kolmanskop as it's worth the visit.
Decent 4 star hotel - clean rooms - good buffet breakfast
Very nice Hotel with very good service. I think it must be one of best hotels in Namibia.
Not much to see in Luderitz. This could have been shorter stay. But it does provide for a good rest.
Good hotel. Food was good and service too. Fantastic view and will definitely see us again.
Great place, great location, nice restaurant
beatiful hotel( near the sea) and good food.
Can recommend this hotel. They upgraded us to a suite which made a huge difference!
We had a beautiful room facing the ocean. We appreciated the pool and the restaurant. The food was very good and out of the beaten paths.
The accommodations were nice and comfortable. The staff were more professional and a bit stiff. I don't mean that in am overly negative way. They were simply more reserved than the other people we encountered.
I was appreciative of having the sea view from my room. The place is dated, but clean and friendly.
The hotel was ok. A bit retro and conventional. Not a highlight but we'd specifically asked to visit Luderitz to see the Ghost Town in Kolmanskop and there seemed to be few other places in Luderitz where we could have stayed so we were happy to stay
Four star hotel; it was nice being right on the ocean after a week in the desert. Kolmanskop was a must-see. Loved hearing about the fascinating history of the town and it is so incredibly photogenic.
Staff was great. Restuarant was good. Hotel is a little dated. I would recommend a B&B over the hotel when visting Luderitz.
Nothing special. Standard hotel at the end of a road away from the town. Bed was comfortable, food was not the best we had on our trip. Would not advise more than an overnight stay here. Try to make it out to Diaz Point if you stay here for a coffee and cake at the cafe at the end of the road - definitely a trip worth making. Kolmanskop was well worth the visit - it opens at 8.00am, not 9.00am, as generally advertised.
Standard big hotel, but with a good quality/price balance. The sea-view rooms are simply amazing.
Convenient because we needed to visit Kolmanskopp but the service is very average compared to Namibian (high) standards. The food is no great either (the kitchen staff was sometimes rude all together) and the rooms are quite charmless.
An old German hotel, but comfortable and clean on the Atlantic Ocean. Other brightly coloured houses in the town and a distinct German influence.
Very neat hotel, nice rooms
Disapointed. Very small room no balcony. Service average.
Clearly the best option in town, but our least favorite place of the trip- okay.
Excellent room, meals and location
OK, but needs to improve the heating system (switched off is very cold, switched in is very noisy and the room becomes hot)
Maybe the best choice in the town. Of course the best restaurant for a dinner!
A traditional hotel. Room in the range of commercial hotel, good buffet dinner.
a real 4 stars hotel oceanfront!
We loved the hotel and the service was excellent
OK hotel, friendly staff. Excellent oysters
Great hotel with a good location. Enjoyed our stay.
Sufficient and pleasant base from which to explore Luderitz. Breakfast does not offer much variety for a 4* but will get you through the day. Rooms are OK and the location is a definite plus.
A valid four star, excellent location, good restarant
Do have the lobster. It's a bargain for South Africans.
Excellent location. Oysters at the Pelican Restaurant are highly recommended
nice hotel but Luderitz was a bit disappointing great drive to get there but not much to do or see once you are there. should have arranged "ghost town tour"
Pleasant, modern hotel. Wi-Fi access was useful.
The best place to stay in Luderitz
The hotel initially gave us a room where the painters were still painting it but that was soon resolved. A really great place, we found it a refreshing stopover, the seaview was fantastic.
Ok hotel, but strangely enough a little worn down, even though it is a new hotel.
