The only 'hotel' we stayed in and perfectly comfortable. We'd probably have chosen only to stay one night, on reflection, but that due to Luderitz itself rather than the hotel.

Lehman, Derick - 29th Aug, 2017

Looks like any european hotel and consequently lacks some human or namibian ambiance.

Giral, Stephan - 26th Aug, 2017

A bit commercial with all the bus tour groups, but a lovely stay

Travel Logic - 26th Jun, 2017

Location great on sea. Perhaps when recommending you should suggest Kolmanskop as it's worth the visit.

Boardman,liz - 02nd May, 2017

Decent 4 star hotel - clean rooms - good buffet breakfast

Hobkinson, Susan - 18th Apr, 2017

Very nice Hotel with very good service. I think it must be one of best hotels in Namibia.

Quintas, Rui - 24th Mar, 2017

Not much to see in Luderitz. This could have been shorter stay. But it does provide for a good rest.

Nishimura,shinya - 19th Mar, 2017

Good hotel. Food was good and service too. Fantastic view and will definitely see us again.

Kuhlmann, Ernst - 04th Jan, 2017

Great place, great location, nice restaurant

Sogne, Mauro - 21st Nov, 2016

beatiful hotel( near the sea) and good food.

Costa, Carlos - 20th Sep, 2016

Can recommend this hotel. They upgraded us to a suite which made a huge difference!

Martheze,esther - 29th Jul, 2016

We had a beautiful room facing the ocean. We appreciated the pool and the restaurant. The food was very good and out of the beaten paths.

Oliveres, Michele - 22nd Feb, 2016

The accommodations were nice and comfortable. The staff were more professional and a bit stiff. I don't mean that in am overly negative way. They were simply more reserved than the other people we encountered.

Hayward, Mark - 10th Jan, 2016

I was appreciative of having the sea view from my room. The place is dated, but clean and friendly.

Kessler, James - 09th Jan, 2016

The hotel was ok. A bit retro and conventional. Not a highlight but we'd specifically asked to visit Luderitz to see the Ghost Town in Kolmanskop and there seemed to be few other places in Luderitz where we could have stayed so we were happy to stay

Lovegrove, Tom - 18th Nov, 2015

Four star hotel; it was nice being right on the ocean after a week in the desert. Kolmanskop was a must-see. Loved hearing about the fascinating history of the town and it is so incredibly photogenic.

Chatham, Robert - 31st Jul, 2015

Staff was great. Restuarant was good. Hotel is a little dated. I would recommend a B&B over the hotel when visting Luderitz.

Fey, Cash - 26th Dec, 2014

Nothing special. Standard hotel at the end of a road away from the town. Bed was comfortable, food was not the best we had on our trip. Would not advise more than an overnight stay here. Try to make it out to Diaz Point if you stay here for a coffee and cake at the cafe at the end of the road - definitely a trip worth making. Kolmanskop was well worth the visit - it opens at 8.00am, not 9.00am, as generally advertised.

Strange, Paul - 10th Nov, 2014

Standard big hotel, but with a good quality/price balance. The sea-view rooms are simply amazing.

Bottigelli, Marco - 29th Aug, 2014

Convenient because we needed to visit Kolmanskopp but the service is very average compared to Namibian (high) standards. The food is no great either (the kitchen staff was sometimes rude all together) and the rooms are quite charmless.

Maganza, Florian - 24th Aug, 2014

An old German hotel, but comfortable and clean on the Atlantic Ocean. Other brightly coloured houses in the town and a distinct German influence.

Oberlin-brown, Chris - 14th Aug, 2014

Very neat hotel, nice rooms

Toremans, Maggy - 02nd Aug, 2014

Disapointed. Very small room no balcony. Service average.

Gervais, Dionne - 22nd Jun, 2014

Clearly the best option in town, but our least favorite place of the trip- okay.

Downer, Ann - 01st Jun, 2014

Excellent room, meals and location

Krige, Skip - 04th Nov, 2013

OK, but needs to improve the heating system (switched off is very cold, switched in is very noisy and the room becomes hot)

Baroni, Jean- Pierre - 11th Sep, 2013

Maybe the best choice in the town. Of course the best restaurant for a dinner!

D'argenio, Valeria - 08th Sep, 2013

A traditional hotel. Room in the range of commercial hotel, good buffet dinner.

Lavizzari, Guido - 07th Jul, 2013

a real 4 stars hotel oceanfront!

Portaluppi, Simona - 29th Jun, 2013

We loved the hotel and the service was excellent

Delport, Jan - 01st May, 2013

OK hotel, friendly staff. Excellent oysters

Nobels, Ingrid - 27th Nov, 2012

Great hotel with a good location. Enjoyed our stay.

Brooks, Peter - 24th Sep, 2012

Sufficient and pleasant base from which to explore Luderitz. Breakfast does not offer much variety for a 4* but will get you through the day. Rooms are OK and the location is a definite plus.

Groenewald, Andries - 04th Jun, 2012

A valid four star, excellent location, good restarant

Zambelli, Giorgio - 29th Sep, 2011

Do have the lobster. It's a bargain for South Africans.

Kriel, Fanie - 31st Aug, 2010

Excellent location. Oysters at the Pelican Restaurant are highly recommended

Lalwani, Sanjay - 08th Jun, 2010

nice hotel but Luderitz was a bit disappointing great drive to get there but not much to do or see once you are there. should have arranged "ghost town tour"

Scott, Nigel - 05th Jun, 2010

Pleasant, modern hotel. Wi-Fi access was useful.

Bateman, Tony & Sandy - 09th Apr, 2010

Scheruga, Martina - 18th Nov, 2009

The best place to stay in Luderitz

Cenci, Cristina - 15th Sep, 2009

The hotel initially gave us a room where the painters were still painting it but that was soon resolved. A really great place, we found it a refreshing stopover, the seaview was fantastic.

Mitchener, Nick - 09th Sep, 2009

Ok hotel, but strangely enough a little worn down, even though it is a new hotel.

Ostermand, Inge - 06th Aug, 2009
