Lodge is rather not nice, it seems to be the "hostel" of NAMPOWER employees. There is no heart. - Since there are not too many alternatives, it would be great, if this house can be managed with encouragement and joy.

Nice lodge, food was ok, but not special

Van Den Berg, Martin - 27th Aug, 2011

Great staff, good accommodation, but thank goodness the falls were running, we had a beautiful morning by the falls, but would have been a little bored if no water

Kaszo, Attila - 02nd Jul, 2011

Also lovely place, good service. The receptionist helped us to go to see Himba people, very nice experience.

Molnar - 08th Sep, 2010

Friendly and helpful receptionist - from coordinating a last minute Himba village tour to helping with directions to our next stop. Avoid the restaurant (poor buffet dinner and service; early breakfast was proposed but not delivered).

Very beautiful place, to suggest the visit to himba people that the lodge organize on guests request. This stop is not so necessary if you have a 4x4 because the way to kunene river lodge is short. Our suggestion is to eliminate Oshakati stop and maintein this, on the other hand if you stop at Oshakati, avoid this stop and go straight to kunene river lodge.
