Very cold rooms! But lovely owners who helped us getting around, book restaurants and told us some stories about Namibia
This newly open guesthouse in Walvis Bay is quite a good surprise with a very nice host. The house is decorated with great inspiration, breakfast is complete and the owner is very helpful. From Bullsport : the main road is not so easy, bad holes from place to place and it took us 5 hours to arrive.
OK B&B in Walvis Bay. 15-20 min walk to the restaurants at the sea.
Friendly stay - helpful host who gave good recommendations regarding places to eat and get tyre puncture repair
so nice lady, good breakfast, room comfortable
Good budget accommodation however a simple ceiling in the upstairs rooms would improve the warmth in the rooms. The bare look makes it aesthetically pleasing on the eye but I'd rather be warmer winter.
The room was ok and clean but cold and no heating available in the room. That was a bit unpleasant since we were staying there during winter time. Breakfast was ok but could have a bit more choice. Otherwise ok and felt safe there.
nice, family and vintage
We stayed at Spindrift Guesthouse for two nights in March 2016. We had two rooms, both downstairs, with one at the front facing the garden and the other at the back facing the carpark. The rooms were okay although the one in the back was quite dark as it had a completely overgrown porch. Both rooms had bathtubs and coffee stations. The management was friendly and helpful when you had questions. But not especially interested in us personally (not the kind to chat with you) and they did not show us how to use the pool (we were not sure if we were allowed to use it at all as it seemed to be in a private part of the garden). The location is good and the guesthouse is easy to find.
The staff is very friendly, and the location is perfect.
Spindrift Guest House was ok. Much smaller than other places. Not much personal contact.
Beautiful stay in Walvis Bay. The service was excellent.
A little tired and needs some refreshment.
Excellent - friendly, clean, accommodating
Helpful owners, Clean, good breakfast but rooms a little faded.
Case the owner was very helpful and welcoming.
Really good pension and the owner is really nice. They phone for us to book for a trip and gave us some recommendation for visiting the city
Initially felt that it was a bit chaotic and room rather dull and tired, and found walvis bay not attractive, we arrived on a Sunday and nothing open, it`'s 35mins drive from swakopmund, but the next day we had safari in swakopmund, followed by walk on walvis peninsular for the birds, flamingos and very nice fish meal and decided that it was a good spot to be, the owner was much more helpful after initial meeting and breakfast good and prompt, I am glad we stayed there .
Close to the lagoon, very friendly and helpful people, the room we had could have done with a bit of updating.
Very nice and helpful people.
A nice lodge of a dutch man who is alway willing to help or to give information about Namibia. Excelent breakfast.
Very good accomodation
Excellent accommodation and nice atmosphere.
