The setting of the camp was excellent. We enjoyed the drive from Windhoek, however, we did miss one of the turn offs so may have missed one of the points of interest on the way. My wife has had a hip replacement and two knee replacements so the room they gave us was rather a long way from the reception and restaurant. The steps into the reception and up to the restaurant were difficult for her. Maybe you should enquire when people are booking if they have any access difficulties at a camp like this. The food was excellent and we were amazed at the selection offered and the quality of the food in such a remote location. the food was excellent

Exceptional in every way - the setting was stunning, the hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Pool area beautiful - we didn't want to leave.

amazing place - well worth the 'extra'

Great place with a good fibe. Very nice staff. Great view. We were unlucky with a sudden locus-plague but that was not their fault.

Van Leeuwen, Leo - 07th Apr, 2017

Very very nice but again far from Sossuvlei. Just to get out of the lodge and reach the road, you can count almost 15 to 20 Minutes.

A wonderful place to stay and unwind. Lisa and her husband were great and so were the staff. A personal touch goes a long way.

Great. Overpriced for what you get. Great customer service. The horseback sundowner trip was not worth it.

Dueck, Karin - 28th Sep, 2016

Stunning! We loved it. The staff were also amazing, staying up late to welcome and make us dinner when we got a flat tire and were delayed.

Another special place - the provide five course meals where 3 decent courses would be better. Love the solar water heating and power

Holden, Wendy - 05th Aug, 2016

Excellent customer service from Lisa and her team. Obviously it is miles from anywhere... but the views were great. Our room was well kitted out and comfortable with lovely deck to watch the sunset - though our room was quite a distance from main reception and public areas. Food excellent and well cooked. Would definitely stay there again if we were back in that part of Namibia.

Beautiful place. It is a little far from the park, but we didn't mind the distance because we liked the hotel so much.

Poreda, Jackie - 12th Jun, 2016

Beautiful lodge. Could have stayed another night or two here. Food was good, rooms were quite large and lovely. Loved the remoteness and privacy of the lodge.

Bartosik, Karen - 05th Jun, 2016

This was our first highlight, amazing place, excellent service, great food. We also saw the Desert Homestead Lodge which didn't look nearly as nice as the Outpost. They organised a most impressive excursion to Sossousvlei, Sesriem Canyon and Deathvlei

Duys, Henk - 14th May, 2016

Our favourite place and we were so glad we had two nights here. The room was lovely, the food excellent and the views were stunning. The lodge itself was beautifully laid out and the setting was incredible. we really felt like we were in the heart of the desert wilderness - with easy access to a G&T! The service was relaxed and friendly. We really didn't want to leave.

The best place we stayed in. Rooms well equipped with everything possible. Stylish decor and accessories. Henry, the manager, was extremely pleasant and helpful. He was 'hands on' at all time to make sure everything ran smoothly. The staff were polite, friendly and had obviously been well trained in dealing with clients. The evening meals were superb! A wonderful experience.

Fantastic place. Beautiful place to rest up for a couple of days and see the sights. Food and service excellent. (Note: to go south from there it is easier to turn right as you leave and go on the D845(?) - quicker than going to Seriem.)
