Highly recommended. Food good and staff efficient and friendly. Nice isolated location.
What a wonderful way to end our trip to Namibia. The canvas tent was far more comfortable than I had imagined, with a permanent bathroom built on (best shower water pressure of the entire trip!), as well as an air conditioner. They offer a self drive tour as well as a walking tour but we chose to just hang out and relax on our last night. The food was very delicious and the service was on point.
Lovely camp near to Windhoek. The 3 luxury tents are very well appointed and stylish. Food and service excellent.
When we arrived, we were so sorry that we hadn't booked for longer as it's a delightful camp. Beautifully designed site, including the dining-area, and we loved the spacious "tents". The food was excellent and sitting round the fire after dinner chatting to the other guests was great. We really enjoyed being able to walk in the reserve, which we hadn't been able to do at any other camp /lodge, especially as there were warthogs and antelopes very nearby. As we drove away on our last morning we were thrilled to come across a group of giraffes walking along the road and were able to get very close to them - what a treat as a final memory!
Omatozu is a good place to stop after a long flight to arrive in Windhoek. I was tired and certainly drive 400km to Etosha will be hard. To be honest for me was only a confortable place to rest, but the food was very good.
Small and precious. Good food
My favorite stop in Namibia! It's a beautiful property with plentiful wildlife. Accommodations are in permanent tents that include both a/c and a built-in bathroom. The food was outstanding. I can't say enough about how great it was!
Very nice quiet place - perfect after a long travel. Good stopover to Etosha. Not sure there would be enough to do to stay another night.
Loved the peacefulness of this place.
Nice place, friendly personnel, who did their best to please us (e.g. call us when there was some game). Some of the best food we got on the entire trip. However, not much to do. A walking trail or camp fire or pool table or petanque would have been welcome.
Excellent for the first day to rest close to the airport a get more familiar with the car and the country.
Perfect for our last night in Namibia. The food was fantastic! Owners and staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Lovely little place to stay with good intro to wildlife, I wanted to find my `own giraffe`, set off for a walk around the waterhole, and found one within minutes! Food was outstandingly good. Great staff, very friendly. Lovely `tent`
Beautiful and relaxing site in the middle of nowhere. The chef is to be mentioned, and the views from the dining room also
pleasant but not much wildlife. Sadly the owner was not present to make the visit more interesting.
Such a pleasant surprise and what a lovely way to end our Namibian adventure... We were the only guests staying at the farm (which has 3 lovely tents, glamping you might say) and the 2 gents who looked after us were great - then even helped wash our car!! We never did meet the owners - but we give this place 5 stars - the food was great, such a nice, quiet, peaceful setting. We really appreciated the sparking wine and Ferrero Rocher.
Best lodge of our trip. Excellent guided walk around the farm with some good wildlife spotting and information. Also the best food of the trip. Nice that the owners came and welcomed us too.
Great stop off for the night before a flight. Chris who runs the place for the owners is really good - very helpful, very knowledgeable. EVen thought he is running the rooms and restaurant he is actually a qualified guide and a great resource.
Beautiful location. This place is definitely recommended.
Fantastic, for an overnight stop we thought it was outstanding. Wished we had stayed here a bit longer.
Perfect location for a first or last night (en route to or back from Etosha to Windhoek). Again, spotlessly clean. Fabulous food (they have an amazing cook) and really friendly and helpful staff (Alfred and Charles???). Didn`t do their game drives or walks but another British couple who were there said the walk was excellent.
Very nice - best food of the trip and nicest staff.
This is an excellent facility.Good accomodation, staff, service and food.
We received a very warm welcome to a most relaxing environment. Ideal place to recover after the journey - loved the honey badger & porcupines!
Beautiful; very kind. For our honeymoon they prepared champagne and chocolate, and, for dinner, they prepared a private table for us.
Perfect and wonderful place!!! Nice boss who came to visit us to see if all was OK. The employees also was friendly. The place is fantastic and has all the things you need for a camping. Has a beautiful pool and is very quiet!. Stay there! You will come back!
Omatozu has only 3 tented bungalows, so in the main building everything is in one large room: dining, relaxing, talking and the bar. Very friendly Alfred seemed to be responsible for everything. Good dinner and breakfast, cosy atmosphere.
