This is a combination of the Boat Fishing Trip with dinner on the beach afterwards. (It is not the Boat and Shore Fishing Trips combined, but this can be arranged.) Anglers will be collected from their accommodation in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund or from 0745 – 0815, and their day at sea begins from either the Swakopmund Mole or Walvis Bay harbours. Fishing takes place from around 10km to 120km offshore.

Snoek and yellowtail are the only game fish species obtainable in Namibian waters.

Fish/sharks species available during:

• October – April include: Bronze whaler shark, houndshark, sandshark, bull ray, blue ray, snoek.
• May – August: Cow shark.
• January – April: Steenbras
• All year: Spotted gulley shark, kabeljou, galjoen, barbel and black tail.

On your day at sea:

• Tackle used is the most modern type available; Shimano and Daiwa reels and graphite surf casting rods.
• Casting can be done for clients.
• If preferred clients' own reels can be used.
• The tag and release method is actively supported
• You are welcome to try out your catch; your guide will fillet it for you, or take it to your accommodation and ask the chef to prepare it for you!
• A packed lunch is provided. Dinner on the beach at 19h00 can also be arranged.
• There are no guarantees that the fish will be biting!

Scheduled return to either Swakopmund / Walvis Bay harbours is around 13h00 with onward transport to their accommodation. After the fishing activities have been completed, you will have time to go back to your accommodation and freshen up. Dinner is served on the beach ± 19h00 and includes:

• Fresh (locally harvested) oysters.
• Catch of the day either Char-grilled or baked

• Calamari stir-fry with peppers, garlic and herbs.
• Fresh vegetables.
• Spicy rice.
• Greek salad with dressing.
• Crispy bread rolls with butter.

All complimented with a bottle of wine per 3 persons. There is also a cash bar available serving:

• White wine.
• Locally brewed Namibian lagers and beers.
• Soft drinks.
