Okapuka Day Trip

Windhoek - Namibia

This trip to a private game lodge, Okapuka Ranch, situated 30km outside of Windhoek has two versions: a full day & half day trip - both start and end in Windhoek.

Full day trip
On arrival at the lodge your morning begins with a 2 hours horse back ride during. This is an incredible experience as it includes watching wildlife up close from the back of a horse. (Only experienced riders with max. weight of up to 90kg can participate). The ride is followed by a light lunch at Okapuka Restaurant, after which there is some time to relax by the pool.
Then you are treated to an afternoon game drive, the reserve has crocodiles, giraffes, white rhino, impala, waterbuck, wildebeest, hartebeest, springbok, oryx, kudu, warthogs, steenbok, sable antelope, blesbok, eland, and jackal.
Half day trip
The half day trip arrives after lunch and includes the afternoon game drive
