Take an exhilarating trip down a unique stretch of the Orange River. The striking rock features in the Nama Canyon are awesome and the rapids are frequent, with such emotive names as "Liquidation", "Spook & diesel" and "Eliminator".

1 |
Arrive at "Provenance" camp (near Noordoewer on the Namibian / South Africa Border). A delicious dinner will be served until 10pm. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be available for latecomers. |
2 & 3 |
After a hearty breakfast you will be transported to Aussenkehr put in point and taught the rudiments of paddling and the do's and don’ts of the river. Afterwhich your epic river adventure begins. Each night is spent on the banks of the river under the stars.

For those on the Fish Eagle adventure, you will sadly leave the river at the Fish River mouth after an exhilarating day's paddling.

For those on the Nama Canyon adventure, your departure from the river is at Sendlingsdrift, but not before an incredible day spent gazing in awe at the magnificent rock formations of the Nama Canyon. You will then be transported back to "Provenance" for lunch before heading home. |

| Other | We supply all canoeing equipment, ie. 2 man Mohawk canoes, paddles and life jackets. Experienced guides will accompany you providing catering, safety and assistance. All catering on the Orange river is handled by our guides and included in the overall price are breakfasts, lunches and suppers, which are all five star meals. Liquor and soft drinks are however not included in the package. Glass bottles are not allowed on the Orange river for conservation reasons, so please decant into plastic bottles or bring cans. We also supply buckets to keep all your clothes, cameras etc. dry and provide cooler boxes for drinks. |
