Sedina Boat Trip
Cruise in Luderitz - Namibia
This trip on the schooner 'Sedina'' starts from Luderitz Harbour every morning at 08h00.
The schooner passes the old whaling station at Stormvogel Bucht, and sails on to Shearwater and Guano Bay. During the voyage, the colony of African jack-ass penguins on Halifax Island is visited, and often heavyside dolphins are encountered.
Passengers have a good view of Diaz Point Lighthouse and the colony of Cape fur seals, not to mention a host of bird life. The Luderitz Bay is a home to many aquatic birds including large numbers of flamingos, cormorants and seagulls, that inhabit the shallow lagoon. Adding to the fun, the guide will give you the historical insights of Luderitz.
