Auob Lodge

Experience the Kalahari Desert

Auob Lodge is situated in on the banks of the Auob River in an 800 hectare area. Auob Country Lodge provides a peaceful atmosphere in which to relax in Kalahari Desert surroundings. Antelope, smaller Namibian mammals and birds can be seen on the game drives, horse trails and walks, and the swimming pool is always an inviting prospect during the hot summer days. In winter, there is an open fire in the lounge to combat the chilly evenings.

Other facilities include a lounge, reception lounge and billiard table. If you are a sports enthusiast, work out on the squash court or in the swimming pool. Fine cuisine and entertainment can be found in the dining room or bar. The big barn is available for special occasions and can fit approximately 400 people. You can see various large and small game species such as oryx, springbok, zebra, giraffe and blessbuck during game drives or when horse riding.

The 40-bed Lodge has 2 family units, restaurant, lapa, TV room and lounge with a fireplace for chilly winter evenings. At Auob Lodge you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at the swimming pool or discover the surrounding area on foot or horseback.
