Central Guest House
Accommodation in Swakopmund - Namibia
Central Guesthouse is a bed and breakfast establishment situated in the heart of old Swakopmund. It is within easy walking distance of the towns restaurants, shops, museums, beaches and all other main amenities. It is very popular with individual travellers, families and especially members of the business community, who prefer to be more centrally located in the town.
Business facilities include a computer available in the lounge, as well as a room desk and Wi-fi facilities in the main building as well as the rooms. Both floors of the house have an 'honesty' mini-bar and 24hr tea/coffee station. In the late afternoons, coffee and/or biscuits/cake can be ordered and in winter the fireplace is lit to ward off that winter chill. There is a smoking area outside in the garden.
A continental or cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs can be ordered in the breakfast room. The management are happy to recommend one of the many bars and restaurants in the town for lunch or dinner. Breakfast and lunch packs can be ordered by guests who may be away for the day on business or on a day trip in Swakopmund or Walvis Bay.
Accommodation is in 7 rooms. There are 2 x double, 4 x twin and a family room which can accommodate 2 x adults and 2 x children. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV and a hairdryer. They have been stylishly furnished with dark mahogany furniture, with extra length beds, orthopedic mattresses and their top quality white linen will ensure a very good nights sleep.
