Experience the Kalahari Desert

The Dunes Lodge is situated amongst the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert this is more than a lodge, its also offers the opportunity to experience the Bushman culture. The lodge is named for its setting amongst the Kalahari Dunes, and can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests, in 5 upmarket chalets. Each chalet has air-conditioning, a lounge area and a private veranda with a stunning view of the Kalahari in Namibia.

The lodge has initiated a project of game relocation and the conservation of a unique wetland ecosystem. You can experience this conservation are on foot, horse back or on a guided drive. Activities include joining the San trackers in search of both large and small game. Sunrise walks or sunset drives familiarise guests with the terrain before they meet the !Xoo bushman community.

Accommodation in the conservation area is also available at the Camelthorn Lodge, Zebra Lodge or Suricate Tented Camp

Valid from 1 January 2006 until 31 December 2006

Fully inclusive rate includes accommodation, all meals, early morning Bushman walk and an afternoon game drive with a complimentary sundowner drink.

Situated in the Kalahari Game Reserve. From the B1, turn east onto the C21, and then south onto the D1268 for 22 km.
