Situated on the same site as the 4-star Safari Court Hotel and Conference Centre, is the original 3-star Hotel Safari. The two hotels share the same entrance way and some facilities and lie adjacent to the domestic Eros Airport. Free transport is offered to the and from the Windhoek city centre and Maerua Mall every hour and a luxury bus service between Windhoek International Airport and the Safari Hotels is operated daily by a local, recommended transport operator. Beautiful lush gardens and well-lit fountains are a feature here.

Facilities at the hotel are the same as for the Safari Court. It includes babysitting and child care (with high chairs and cots) laundry & dry cleaning, photocopy & fax and other administrative services, wireless Internet access, has a ramp for disabled access including wheelchairs, the African Curiotique, a spa / health centre, and a number of guest lounges, restaurants and bars.

There are a number of bars and restaurants and breakfast can be taken in the Welwitschia restaurant. Guests can enjoy a traditional carvery in The Steakhouse, which is open for dinner only. They are welcome to use the both the Acacia and Welwitschia restaurants for lunch and dinner. There is a swimming pool bar and deck, ideal venues for snacks and drinks, especially at sunset.

Accommodation at the hotel is in a total of 199 rooms.

There are 109 standard.
And 90 business class rooms.

The main difference between the two is that the business class rooms have been recently renovated and have a work area. The facilities are the same; en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, electric shaving plug (220v) and hairdryer. There is also air-conditioning and heating with individual controls, multi-channel satellite TV, radio, direct dialling telephones, a tea/coffee station and a fridge. There is a safe at reception to store personal items of value.

Residents of the Hotel Safari are welcome to use the Oukolele Day Spa and Wellness Centre. (Oukolele is Oshiwambo for health) located downstairs in the Safari Court Hotel. It offers a comprehensive spa service and fitness centre, boasting state-of-the-art techno-gym equipment.

Many guests head to this welcoming addition to the Safari Hotel complex, especially after an long drive or arduous safari around Namibia, to pamper themselves with a selection of facial, body and massage therapies, not to mention a number of interesting wax treatments, or classic manicure and pedicure finishing touches. There are also a number of spa and bridal packages, as well as specialized and signature treatments. The centres health and skin care therapists can also provide gentleman's facial, hand and foot details. The body cannot recover from aches and pains by just sleep alone, but by renewing the body, mind and soul. Book early as treatments are by appointment only!

Extensive free parking is available on the premises, again shared with the Safari Court, which is secured by access control to the hotel grounds.
