Kings Den Lodge consists of 10 wooden chalets with balconies overhanging the river, offering a magnificent view of the Chobe and Sedudu (Kasikili) Island, stamping ground of elephant, buffalo and hippo, and 5 chalets overlook the tropical garden. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with ceiling fans. The Zambezi Queen, moored on the river at the lodge, offers another 9 air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities and lounge.
King's Den Lodge is situated in the east Caprivi on the banks of the Chobe River, which forms the border of 4 countries (Namibia, Botswana Zimbabwe, and Zambia). An interesting fact is that the Chobe River sometimes flows backwards - and sometimes forward, depending whether it gets fed from the Kwando and Linyanti Rivers or from the Zambezi River.
Guests will be met at the Kasane immigration office in Botswana and transferred to the lodge by boat. Assistance with immigration procedures will be provided by management or staff of King's Den Lodge and vehicles can be safely stored at the Kasane immigration office.
