The Lagoon Lodge offers a cosy and friendly atmosphere - come and enjoy all the delights of the unique Walvis Bay Lagoon, amazing colours and majestic sunsets. The lodge has a great setting right beside the lagoon where you will see an amazing array of marine birds, including large groups of flamingos.
Walvis Bay is Namibia's major port and as such it is a busy working town. The lagoon is the main attraction of this area and is regarded as the most important wetland for coastal birds in Southern Africa. Often you will see thousands of lesser and greater flamingos as well as white pelicans, plover, avocet, turnstone and a huge variety of waders. Several endemic species, such as the dune lark and the Damara tern are also in the vicinity.
Each of Lagoon Lodges' six exclusively decorated rooms has its own private balcony or terrace overlooking the lagoon. Take a hearty breakfast watching the panorama from the dining room or have a rest at your leisure in the garden around the swimming pool.
