Tucked away in an expanse of 4,300ha of prime farmland, is the first internationally branded 5-star hotel in Namibia, the Kempinski Mokuti Lodge. The entrance to Etosha National Park is nearby and it is only a 2min drive from Mokuti airstrip. (2.2kms long with night landing facilities) It makes this stunning hotel the ideal safari destination for a luxurious, top-tier base, to explore, experience and marvel at the wonders of Namibia's fantastic wildlife.
It's unique range of culinary delights and specialties, make this the perfect venue for incentives, meetings, weddings and honeymooners alike. Mokuti is the Himba word for 'in the bush.'
The lodge services are extensive and professionally organized. There is wireless internet access in public areas, a business centre, (with 2 workshops) a curio shop, gym, 2 x floodlit tennis courts, billiard room, and separate adult and kids swimming pools. There is room service, (06h00-22h00) a lounge area, library, babysitting service and children's play area, laundry, secure parking for cars and buses, petrol station and a craft market.
The Tambuti Restaurant serves a combination of 'live cooking,' premium international buffets and meals from their 'a la carte' menu. Traditional African grill cuisine can be ordered at 'The Boma,' with dishes presented 'al fresco'. The Marula Bar offers a wide range of beers and fine wines, from their 'spirited' beverages menu. The Pool Bar is the place to head for a selection of snacks and drinks, right by the pool areas.
Accommodation is in a combination of 106 rooms/suites. They are all equipped with en-suite bathroom or shower, air-conditioning and a fan, telephone, satellite DSTV, mini-bar, tea/coffee station, mosquito nets, a hair-dryer and an in-room safe. There are:
- 56 deluxe rooms.
- 34 Safari Club rooms. These have better views and a more modern interior and carpets than the deluxe rooms.
- 8 Safari Suites. These are family rooms, with 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with 3 separate beds for children.
- 8 Etosha Suites. These suites are set closer to, but not with a view of, the waterhole. They are more individually set, giving a greater degree of privacy than the deluxe rooms or Suites, and includes a mini-bar in the booking. They have tall, glass windows, giving a lovely view of the immediate environment.
Those tired and aching bones and minds, can be refreshed and rejuvenated at the Mokuti Lodge Spa, dedicated to the pampering and well-being of their guests. Some of their products are indigenous, showcasing the local flora. They offer:

The conference facilities include indoor and outdoor venues. The indoor Oshoto and Onduno locations each have a theatre, classroom, banquet hall, cocktail/reception area, U-shaped room, boardroom and a ballroom. They can accommodate between 30 and 160 delegates or guests.
The outdoor sites of Olupale, Ohambo, (both bush sites) Mokuti Pool Side and Mokuti Gardens are for banquets and cocktail/reception only. They can house between 40 and 275 guests.
To add to the excitement of Mokuti Lodge, there is a reptile park. The Conservation Manager can be called on to give a 'snake demonstration', and the audience can rest assured they can view from a safe distance! Reptilian lovers can come closer, but under strict supervision!
Activities include private and scheduled game drives into Etosha National Park, walking trails, photographing and spotting game from their own viewing platform, as they come to the waterholes, to drink, graze and play.

Directions:
from the B1, turn into C38 approximately 75 kilometers north of Tsumeb. The turn-off is sign-posted (road to the Etosha National park, Namutoni camp). The entrance to Kempinski Mokuti Lodge is on the left hand side just before the park gate.
