Villa Mushara is the epitome of style and luxury, located close to the rugged and harsh wilderness of Etosha. The two very spacious en-suite villas are designed for living in luxury. There is a small private library, fully selected mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities, fire place, CD player, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, mosquito net, international plugs, internet access point, telephone, wall safe and room service.

The outside area provides a terrace, private plunge pool, outside shower and a thatched area for sundowners or daytime relaxing within the bush atmosphere.

Guests are welcome to use the large swimming pool which is surrounded by a well-manicured green lawn. In the afternoon, relax and unwind in the plunge pool where you can watch kudu, warthog and impala drinking at the waterhole.

The Library Bar has an extensive wine cellar and there is an impressive and comfortable public lounge. The evening meal is served in the central lapa. Many guests comment on Villa Mushara's great personal service and excellent food. They were also thrilled to see lion and elephant on the early morning guided tours.

Whilst the emphasis here centres mainly on rest and relaxation amongst elegant and luxurious surroundings, daily game drives are available. The birding is excellent as are the fabulous photographic opportunities.

Game Drives in Etosha

The vehicles used for game drives have an all weather safety design for the wet and dry season - they offer a 360 degree open-air unobstructed view - optimal height for visibility in spacious and comfortable atmosphere - up-to-date game movement information and thereby a high success rate in game spotting.

Directions:

74 kilometres north of Tsumeb on the B1, turn west towards Namutoni on the C38. After another 15 kilometres you will find the entrance to the Mushara Lodge & Villa on your left-hand side (the entrance to Etosha is another 8km along the C38)
