Naua Naua Game Lodge
Etosha national Park - Namibia
Established in 1999, Naua Naua Lodge is situated south of Okaukuejo near Etosha National Park (on the C38), close to the Andersson's Gate entrance. The lodge is located on 24,00ha of farmland and lies amidst unspoilt countryside in the north of Namibia. It has spectacular views of the African bush and it's abundant wildlife.
The lodge was integrated into the natural environment, so that there was as little damage as possible to the indigenous flora and fauna. The main building's exterior therefore, blends into the surrounding nature. Naua Naua is Ovambo for beautiful, beautiful!!!
There is a restaurant and bar, swimming pool and a Lapa with a satellite television system.
There are 8 double rooms and 1 single. 3 more double rooms will be completed by June 2009. They all have en-suite bathrooms, a fan and mosquito nets. All rooms have an excellent view over the vast expanse of the farm and can also see the spot-lit waterhole from their respective verandahs.
There is a breakfast buffet, with lunch on request. Dinner is a set 3 course meal, served with meat and vegetables locally grown.
Naua Naua Lodge can take you on safari trips to Etosha National Park and Ovambo and Himba villages. Local day and night safaris can also be arranged. Day tours start immediately after breakfast and return to the Lodge in the afternoon. Lunch packs will be provided.
