The Resort is built on the banks of the very scenic Oanob Dam. Majestic mountains are set on fire by spectacular sunsets. From your patio you can see the reflections of the moon and stars on the lake. 6 200 hectares of unspoiled nature provides the perfect haven for free roaming game.

An a la carte Restaurant and fully licensed bars will make your visit complete. The resort provides activities for all age groups and levels of excitement, from water skiing, canoeing, and horseback riding to relaxing sundowners by boat.

Rehoboth is situated on an elevation of 4544 Feet (1 385m) of which the physiographic is characterized by rugged stony hills, mountainous areas and sand-filled valleys. The dam has been erected within this setting and makes it the highest dam wall in Namibia (58 metres). A magnitude of fish, birds and antelopes find a safe haven in these surroundings.

Directions

Lake Oanob Resort is located only 1h45 drive south of the Windhoek International Airport or an hour from the centre of town. From Windhoek it is an easy 85 km drive on the main B1 road to Rehoboth. Lake Oanob Resort is situated 7 km west of Rehoboth. The turn off from the B1 to the resort is well indicated.
