Omaruru Game Lodge

a game farm in central Namibia

Omaruru Game Lodge is situated 15km from Omaruru in central Namibia. The beautiful thatched bungalows are situated under shady trees in a garden of cacti and palm trees. All the rooms are comfortably furnished with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Most bungalows face the waterhole, and the restaurant has a beautiful patio from which you can enjoy a sundowner drink and watch the numerous animals around the waterhole.

Game on the farm includes elephant, rhino, ostrich, giraffe, plain and mountain zebra, eland, waterbuck, sable, oryx, kudu, black and blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, impala, springbok, steenbok, Damara Dik-Dik, jackal, leopard and cheetah.

Due to an unscheduled and poorly announced rate increase (of nearly 100%) during 2007 we no longer feel comfortable recommending Omaruru Game Lodge. We recommend our clients stay at one of the other lodges in the area:
