Omburo Health Resort and Guest Farm

a health resort near Omaruru in Namibia

The farm is situated on the highlands and has a relatively low humidity, and mainly consists of arid to semi desert savannah. The Guest Farm is situated 28km from the town Omaruru in central Namibia. The Resort is 1200 - 1300 meters above sea level. The farm is 8000 ha and has prime game.

The resort has a fully equipped gym, sauna, spa bath, hot spring and swimming pool. Nature walks on guided trails along the banks of the Omaruru river can be taken. Health food prepared by the hostess served at the family table makes for a homely atmosphere. A fully qualified masseur lives permanently on the farm. She also offers pedicures, manicures, facials, full body and back massages.

The health resort caters for a maximum of 12 guests accommodated in fully serviced guest rooms of which all have air-conditioning, television, bar fridges, hair dryers and coffee machines. Robes and towels are also supplied.

When you stay you need to bring hat, sunglasses, pullover, walking shoes, suntan lotion (factor 12), swimming costume, gown for the sauna, gym gear, moisturiser and insect repellent.
