Oshakati Country Lodge is situated in an impressive thatched main building that houses a restaurant, lounge, bar and conference facility. This is a good base from which to explore the traditional Ovambo lifestyle. Relax around the pool or depart on an interesting tour of the surrounding traditional villages. Oshakati is the hub of trans-border trade with Angola and is the ideal base from where business people and tourists can explore the Northern region.
This three-star facility has 46 air-conditioned en-suite double rooms, an a-la-carte restaurant, resident's bar, a swimming pool with bar service, and an air-conditioned conference facility.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room. Dinner can also be served in the palm shaded courtyard around the swimming pool. The conference room seats 150 people and is popular for banquets and receptions. The bar with traditional drums and murals of dancing tribesman has a relaxing atmosphere with an interesting mix of cultures and conversation.
The courtyard with its lush garden and swimming pool provides the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing sundowner after a busy day. Airport transfers to the Oshakati Airstrip and Ondangwa can be arranged.
