This area is one of Namibia's 4 Ramsar sites and it's protection is guaranteed by the Namibian government. The Ramsar Convention, (The Convention on Wetlands of International Importance) is an international treaty for the conservation and sustainable utilization of wetlands. It is named after the town of Ramsar in Iran, the location of the first meeting.
The hotel itself is situated in the CBD of Walvis Bay, and is within easy walking distance of shopping centres, pubs, restaurants, cinema, a casino, parks and financial and business areas.

- Balcony Rooms: set on the upper floor, also sea-facing but with improved views of the bay. The facilities are similar to the Standard Rooms.
