Rivendell Guest House is located in a shady suburb, within walking distance of Namibia's capital city centre, Windhoek. It caters for guests who enjoy homely, comfortable accommodation, with the emphasis being on hospitality and helpfulness, on any aspect of visiting the country. Families are most welcome here and the reception is open from 07h00 until 22h00.

The communal lounge area is a great venue to relax, exchange travel stories and information, or catch up on all the worlds major news and sporting events on DSTV. There is also a dining room, with shaded verandah, a large patio area with swimming pool, and well-kept and designed gardens for their guests enjoyment.

Rivendell Guest House offers fully-equipped self-catering facilities, or the option of bed and breakfast. Before setting off on a day's activities, shopping, or a visit to the city, guests can tuck into a sumptuous feast of fresh fruit, a selection of cereals, yoghurt, white or wholemeal toast, jam and marmalades, cheese and cold meats, all whilst waiting for a hot breakfast, (cooked to order) of eggs and bacon, pork sausage, hash browns, fried tomatoes, baked beans, washed down with tea/coffee, and fresh fruit juice. Breakfast packs are also available for those early departures.

There is also safe off-road parking, a secure storage luggage facility, a staff-operated laundry system, Internet access and a metered guest phone.

There is a range of accommodation that will suit most people's needs; including single and double / twin rooms, with en-suite or shared bathroom facilities, a self catering flat with kitchenette, lounge, (with sat TV), a double bedroom and bathroom. The Guest House has a child / third person sharing policy, but do not supply baby cots. Guests are kindly requested to smoke outside only. The reception at Rivendell is open from 7am until 10pm.
