Sandcastle Apartments situated in the Namibian seaside town of Swakopmund, offers quality self-catering accommodation, only a stone's throw from the Atlantic Ocean. The city centre and numerous restaurants, pubs and shops, are less than 15mins walk away.

There are 4 individually decorated and recently renovated, self-catering apartments available, taking a maximum of 14 guests at any one time. As they are self-catering, meals are not included, however breakfast can be arranged if required.

Each flat has a built-in kitchenette equipped with a microwave, integrated electric hob and cooker head, coffee machine and cordless kettle, toaster,hairdryer, cutlery and crockery. The Zebra and and Lion Flats have a refrigerator, the Elephant and Atlantic a fridge/freezer combo. Bedding and towels are also provided in every unit, as are electric plugs for hair-dryer and razors (220v) suitable for German (and most European) appliances. There is also a designated braai area in the garden for guests.

The Zebra Flat - This apartment is ideal for 2 adults and a child. It has a twin-bed bedroom and a spacious bathroom/shower. There is also a flat screen TV (with DStv satellite channels) in the lounge. A floor to ceiling double window and sliding door, leads into the garden.

The Lion Flat: Also used as their Honeymoon Flat, this is a very well-designed flat for 2 people. It has a king-size double bed, a luxurious bathroom/shower, a separate lounge with flatscreen TV (with DSTV channels) and a fitted kitchenette with dining area. This is popular with honeymooners staying at Sandcastle Apartments.

The Elephant Flat: This apartment is suitable for 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. It is a bright and spacious unit with a king-size double bed and a bathroom/shower.. There is a roomy living room that is big enough to add 2 beds for children, sharing the flat with their parents. It has a flat screen TV (with DSTV channels) and a separate dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette with a freezer additional to the facilities of the other flats. (This unit is not suitable for 4 adults as the bathroom is only reachable through the bedroom!) The flat is very light with the two large double-windows that lead into the garden.

The Atlantic Flat: This is a flat for families and groups. It is a 3 bedroom apartment, designed for 2 persons in each room, situated on the first floor and offers great ocean views. Of the three bedrooms: 1 has a king-size double bed, the other 2 have with twin-beds. There are 2 shower/bathrooms. There is a separate lounge with flat screen TV (with DSTV channels) and a fully equipped fitted kitchen and dining area, with a freezer additional to the facilities of the other flats.

• Coming from Windhoek the B2 becomes Sam Nujoma Avenue as you enter Swakopmund. Turn right onto Moses Garoeb Street (near Shoprite Supermarket) and then turn left at the 7th street onto Tobias Hainyeko Str. Take the 1st right onto Welwitschia Street and then the 3rd left onto Woker Street
• Coming from Walvis Bay on the B2 take the first right onto Rhode Allee. At the fourth intersection turn left onto Moses Garoeb Street and then continue straight (through 10 intersections) turn left at Tobias Hainyeko Street (the 11th street). Take the 1st right onto Welwitschia Street and then the 3rd left onto Woker Street
