Giancarlo and Oscar, the Italian owners of Sea Breeze Guest House, in Swakopmund have done an excellent job of decorating their establishment. The guest rooms and communal areas are show taste and an attention to detail which is seldom found in Namibia. The ever present (yet not overbearing!) owners are extremely hospitable and are always willing to offer advice on what to see and do in Swakopmund.

Expect to spend a little longer than normal enjoying breakfast at Sea Breeze, it is a real occasion; apart from the usual tea, coffee, cereals, toast, bacon and eggs, the menu includes home made cakes and other delicacies. The Sea Breeze Guest House is situated directly on the beach and offers spectacular views of the ocean. Accommodation comprises single, double, triple and quad rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

In the evenings guests can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere around a log fire in the lounge or, on the balcony in the company of their hosts, Oscar and Giancarlo.

For those travelers wishing for a sense of privacy, the three self-catering apartments offer the ideal solution. These apartments are fully equipped with kitchenette, en-suite bathroom and television. Set in a relaxed garden atmosphere and directly on the beach, these offer a spectaculour view over the ocean with the opportunity to watch both dolphins and surfers enjoying the waves. For bird-watchers, this is paradise.
