Alternatively, The Garden Roof Terrace is the only place in town to relax and enjoy a sundowner, as the Namibian sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean. The Zum Kaiser Restaurant doesn't just boast of fine wining and dining. A number of local artists display over 100 pieces of imaginative and original contemporary art pieces here, ranging from landscapes to stills, and oils to watercolours. Nadine Downing, Conni Downing, Michelle //Inixas, Mitzi Maritz and Heid Louw all proudly have their work on show. The roof top bar on the 5th floor is great for a sundowner drink just before dinner with views over Swakopmund and the Atlantic ocean.
The Swakopmund Boutique Hotel also has excellent conference facilities, which can accommodate between 50-70 people. The Desert Wellness Sanctuary, is conveniently located in the hotel, and is ideal for the traveller in need of some relaxation after the stress of being on holiday!
