Vondelhof Guest House in Windhoek is an ideal place to start and end a trip through Namibia. It is situated in one of Windhoek's older houses, which has been lovingly restored by the owners Craig and Yvonne Gibson. The hospitality and service on offer, is just what the weary traveller needs.

It's central location, around 5 minute walking distance from the city centre, makes this small and informal retreat, a great venue to visit the nearby parks, museums, restaurants and many other tourist attractions. The email, fax and Internet facilities, also attracts business people, who are close to the central business district. Many guests can keep in touch with the outside world, on a computer available in reception.

Their sparkling blue swimming pool, (with seating areas and sun-loungers provided,) and verandah that overlook lush tropical gardens, makes this particular guest house, a beautiful place to stay for a couple of days respite. The jungle-gym for kids offers ample opportunity to relax and let off a bit of steam.

In addition to the delicious and well-assorted breakfast buffet, Vondelhof also provide scrumptious light lunches and dinners on request.

The spacious and comfortable rooms are decorated with an African flavour. They all have en-suite bathrooms, TV, telephone, mini-bar, safe, a fan, mosquito nets and a tea/coffee station. The accommodation has been individually styled in order to cater for different needs; some units have a private patio, others have a desk (catering for business people) whilst some are inter-leading, making them suitable for families. There is a rack to dump your luggage on arrival, and space to hang up a safari jacket or two. Single, double and triple rooms are available.

Vondelhof is easily accessible to and from the International airport and secure parking is offered on site.
