Zum Potjie Restcamp lies 380km from Windhoek on the B1 between Otavi and Tsumeb on a 50 hectares small-holding. The rest campoffers spacious bungalows and a cosy farm atmosphere. Activities include walking trails, bird watching, a small farm museum and a swimming pool. Accommodation is in clean, spacious bungalows, each with 2 single beds (with mosquito nets), ensuite shower and WC, table and chairs. Cars can be parked directly in front of your bungalow.

Zum Potjie gains its name (and is well-known for) delicious traditional-style Potjiekos (Afrikaans for food cooked in a pot) which is cooked in a three legged cast-iron pot on the open fire. The meals are served in the main building. Breakfast is sumptuous, with milk, cheese, butter, eggs, fruit juices and delicious jams from our farm. For dinner we have sheep, turkey, duck and chicken on the menu, as well as the "Bobotie" and traditional stews from the "potjie".
