Eagles Nest Lodge
Self-catering rock bungalows on the Klein Aus Vista property, guests are welcome to use the restaurant facilities at Desert Horse Inn. A beautiful place to spend a few nights taking in the wonders of southern Namibia
Desert Horse Inn
Named after the desert horses which are one of the main reasons for visiting the area this is the more main stream lodge on the Klein Aus Vista property
Bullsport Guest Farm
The settlement of Bullsport is marked on nearly every map, however it consists of little more than the guest farm. Great for hiking.
Capricorn Rest Camp
A small, friendly, owner operated rest camp, with individual bungalows & campsites. Great for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life
Tsauchab River Camp
A small private lodge on the banks of the Tsauchab River - an excellent place for walking and enjoying the surrounding scenery
Zebra River Lodge
Another excellent place for hiking, in the Tsaris Mountains. As there are many lodges located closer to Sossusvlei than Zebra River Lodge it is often overlooked, but if you want a genuinely warm welcome at a special lodge then the problems of location can easily be overlooked.
Camp Provenance
Cabana's and permanently erected tents on the banks of the Orange River. This camp also serves as the starting base for several river rafting & canoeing adventures
Goibib Mountain Lodge
The owners and management of this new lodge are making a huge effort to make it the best place to stay in the area. New features and activities are frequently added
Norotshama Lodge
Nestled in the great valley of the Karas region and situated on the banks of the Orange River, about 50km from the South African / Namibia border post
Orange River Lodge
The Orange River Lodge is situated near Noordoewer on the border between South Africa and Namibia
Sandfontein Lodge
A small lodge set on the third biggest game reserve in Namibia. Expect tranquility and a very personalised service in a remote environment
The White House
Not quite Washington DC! This remote accommodation is basic but extremely popular with those looking for good honest accommodation.
Canon Lodge
Probably the most popular lodge in the area. Friendly staff, interesting rooms and an emphasis on growing all local produce make for a wonderful stay
Canyon Roadhouse
The smaller sibling to the Canon Lodge & Village, this fun establishment boasts loads of character
Canyon Village
Supposedly laid out like an African village - this tends to be second choice to the Lodge but still offers good value
Dabis Guest Farm
A working farm in southern Namibia. Offers an insight into sheep farming is this arid region
Duwisib Castle Camping
The completely off his rocker 'Baron' von Wolf built this castle in the middle of nowhere. Rumours abound about this gun toting, cross dressing loon - the campsite is not as interesting!
Helmeringhausen Hotel
The settlement of Helmeringhausen consists of little more than a hotel, a petrol station and an agricultural museum. Luckily the hotel is a good one, with friendly owners.
Namtib Guest Farm
Situated in the Tiras mountains, an owner run guest farm that offers a warm welcome and even better scenery
Sinclair Guest Farm
A small reasonably priced guest farm - geologists are sure to enjoy the abandoned copper mine
Bagatelle Kalahari Lodge
Excellent lodge in the Kalahari Desert, offers accommodation in units made of straw bales or wood. Bagatelle proves to be consistently popular with guests
Hardap Dam Resort
Really only suitable for fisherman - until renovations happen it is probably best not to subject yourself to this.
Kalahari Anib Lodge
Tends to cater for larger groups, but the low rates make it attractive for those looking to save some money.
Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge
A 12 room lodge situated in a nature reseve and set amongst the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert
Suricate Kalahari Tented Camp
The meerkat or suricate is a small mammal which inhabits the Kalahari - we do not know why this lodge is named after them. Perhaps if you stay here and find out you can tell us and then we can make this slightly more descriptive.
Zebra Kalahari Lodge
The third lodge on the Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve (along with Suricate & Camethorn Lodges). The Kalahari is absolutely magnificent and really should be a part of any visit to Namibia.
Alte Kalkofen Lodge
80km west of Keetmanshoop, named after the large lime ovens found on the farms and boasts the largest collection of lithops in namibia

A large air-conditioned hotel in Keetmanshoop. A useful stop en-route to the Fish River Canyon and South Africa

The undisputed winner of the longest lodge name in Namibia, MFSQTDP offers accommodation at reasonable prices
Boulders Camp Wolwedans
This small luxury camp is the latest addition to the Wolwedans Lodge collection. It is situated around 45km south of the other lodges and therefore offers an insight into a different aspect of the NamibRand Nature Reserve
Wolwedans Dunes Camp
Dunes Camp is the simplest of the establishments on the Namib Rand reserve. Accommodation comes in the form of dome tents each with own bathroom.
