The Nyae Nyae Conservancy covers the former `Eastern Bushmanland’ and Tsumkwe which was established as the administrative capital of the former Homeland in 1958. The conservancy runs a shop in Tsumkwe which sells crafts produced by local community members. The conservancy offers two basic campsites at Djokhoe and Makuri which provide visitors with the opportunity to be shown traditional San hunting techniques, the ways to obtain water from plants, singing and dance performances.


Fiume Bush Camp

A satellite camp to Fiume Lodge, the Bush Camp requires a minimum two night stay and is the base for top quality guided excursions to visit a local Bushman / San community

Nhoma Camp

A partially community owned camp - allows guest to gain an insight into the lives of the local Bushman community

Tsumkwe Lodge
