Banded Fern
Namibia
Banded Ferns (Pteris vittata) can only be found near water where roots can come into contact with moisture. Their distribution is near the Kwando River/Linyati Marsh region of the Caprivi Strip, west of Epupa Falls and near Waterberg Plateau.
Their broad leathery fronds grow to nearly a metre in length in clumps. They require sunshine and partial shade, water and are fairly frost resistant.
Babson House at the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF)
Lodging located on the property used by the CCF. Excellent option if you want to learn about cheetah's and their conservation

On the same property aw the Waterberg Wilderness Lodge but situated higher up the mountain offering excellent views
