This accommodated safari offers the opportunity to view game in Etosha National Park in Namibia and Chobe National Park in Botswana.

The safari ends in Victoria Falls, allowing participation in any activities and viewing of the falls at your leisure (activities and entrance fee to Victoria Falls are not included and need to be organised on arrival.)

You will be collected by your guide at your Hotel in Windhoek and start your tour to the North. First stop is at the unique wood carvers market in Okahandja where you can view and purchase hand made carvings form various African Countries. This is followed by a visit to Ombo Ostrich farm. We carry on further to Otjiwarongo where the Crocodile farm will be viewed. On the way to Mokuti Lodge a short stop over at the mysterious Otjikoto Lake. At Mokuti Lodge visit the snake park, relax at the Swimming pool or explore the surrounding area by foot.

After breakfast we head for the eastern part of Etosha for some game viewing and a visit to the historic Fort Namutoni. Return to Mokuti Lodge for a 'siesta'; Pm another gamedrive into the park until sunset;

Our trip today will take us to rural Ovamboland. On the way to the northern gate of the Etosha National Park we will view more game. At Oshakati we visit the local market place and proceed to the Oshakati Country Lodge. This northernmost region of Namibia is home to the Ovambo people, which are the majority of the Namibian inhabitants.

Today we travel back into the history of Ovamboland. Whilst visiting the Nakambale Museum and the well preserved Finnish Mission, you will learn more about the history of the first missionaries in Northern Namibia and experience the customs and traditions of daily life of the Ovambo people.

Drive via Tsumeb and Grootfontein to N'Kwazi Lodge situated a few kilometers east of Rundu on the banks of the Okavango River. Lunch to be enjoyed at Roy's Restcamp near Grootfontein. Arrival at N'Kwazi Lodge will be in the late afternoon. End the day with traditional dances and a typical local dinner (NOT included).

Compared to Central Namibia the landscape changes considerably today. We will pass a lot of small villages and their inhabitants - and get the feeling of the "real" Africa. Our first stop will be at the picturesque Popa Falls near Bagani. After a visit at the rapids we travel further to the Mahango National Park. The Mahango National Park is known for its large elephant herds and some other rare game species. Arrive at the Lodge late afternoon; Suclabo is situated directly on the Okavango River where one can hear hippos grunt at night.

After an early breakfast we depart from Suclabo Lodge through the Caprivi Strip to Kongola. We than proceed in a southern direction and visit the show village of Lizauli where the local villagers will introduce us to their traditional way of life. From Lizauli we travel a short distance to Lianshulu Lodge. The trip takes about 2 hours; Enjoy the silence of this lush- green, semi tropical paradise on the banks of the Kwando River. In the afternoon you may partake in a sundowner trip on the Kwando to view the extensive variety of bird life and there is a good chance to spot Hippos and crocodiles.

Today's route will lead us from the Kwando River to the Zambezi River at Katima Mulilo and further Southeast Chobe River. We exit Namibia at Ngoma border post and travel for a short distance via the Chobe National Park in Botswana until we reach the border post at Kasane. After further border formalities we cross the Chobe River by boat and arrive at King's Den Lodge, situated on the Namibian side. The Lodge overlooks the Chobe River and Kasikili Island that has been in the headlines for some time. The main attraction of the Island is its big herds of buffalo. After lunch a game viewing-boat trip on the Chobe River will be enjoyed with a chance to view elephants bathing in the river, crocodiles or some of the resident fish eagles, besides other antelopes & game which can be seen on the shore.

Today we travel to Impalila Island at the extreme tip of Namibia. This Namibian island borders the countries Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. After breakfast you may once again enjoy a boat trip on the Chobe River. This will provide the keen photographer splendid opportunities in the early morning light. Back at King's Den Lodge we will be taken across the river by speedboat to Ichingo River Lodge. In the afternoon you may either participate on a guided one-hour trip in a mokoro or hike through the surroundings of the Lodge on your own.

Join your guide in the morning for a tour around the island and enjoy the scenic aerial view over the river landscape from a giant Baobab Tree. After lunch at Ichingo River Lodge we shall carry on further to Victoria Falls. We exit Namibia and drive via Kasane and Kazangula in Botswana into Zimbabwe where you will be dropped off at the hotel of your choice in Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe.
