Quick Trip Namibia is a 7day / 6 night accommodated whirlwind tour of Namibia's northern, coastal and southern highlights. It combines wildlife activity, coastal adrenalin before completing the tour in the desert with a visit to its tallest and most spectacular of red sand-sea dunes. It has been especially designed to give its participants a short, sharp comprehensive safari around Etosha National Park, Swakopmund and Sossusvlei. Highlights include:
- Two nights in the world famous Etosha National Park - incomparable wildlife activity, viewed from your vehicle or the convenience of the lodge floodlit waterhole, day and night!
- Two nights at Swakopmund, Namibia's premier seaside resort - adrenalin-based activities are the norm!
- Climb Big Mama at Sossusvlei - the early morning desert view will last forever!
- Day 1: Windhoek - Etosha National Park
- Quick Trip Namibia passengers will be collected from their Windhoek hotel in time to depart to the garden town of Okahandja at 09h00. Their will be a refreshment stop at Outjo if required before heading on to the famous Etosha National Park. Entering through Andersson's Gate the action begins straight away, with herds of elephant and plains game roaming the park in search of water and grasses. After reaching the overnight stop at Okaukuejo Rest Camp, there is another opportunity to game view on the late afternoon drive. The evening revolves around night-time floodlit waterhole movement.

Meals: Dinner - Day 2: Etosha National Park
- A full day in the park with time to search for mammals on their way to or from known water holes. Elephant, giraffe and springbok browse the fruit and leaves of the African moringa tree (Moringa ovalifolia), not far from the camp. Explore the rim of the salt pan or 'great white place of water'; huge herds of plains game, notably antelope and zebra are in attendance. At night elephant, both black and white rhino frequent the waterhole, as will giraffe. Predators are not too far away, lying in wait, using the natural background around the waterholes as camouflage.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner - Day 3: Etosha National Park - Swakopmund
- After breakfast, there is one final early morning game drive, before heading out of Etosha. The journey continues to Omaruru, the highlight being a visit to the Kristall Kellerei for lunch and a wine tour. The tour heads to the coast and the holiday resort of Swakopmund and the Hansa Hotel.

- A morning to enjoy the sights of Swakopmund, including the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and other modern banking and medical facilities. Activities such as quad-biking, sand-boarding or a variety of other exciting day trips can be organized. (On own account).

In the afternoon there is a guided excursion to the Moon Landscape and to see the incredible Welwitshia mirabelis, a dwarf tree. Some of these 'living fossils' are over 2,000 years old, and specimens of average size are 500-600 years old. In its lifetime, the evergreen plant produces a single pair of leaves which grow from opposite sides of the stem, covering an area of about 1m², and grow throughout the year. Dinner is in one of the many decent restaurants in the town (on own account) and is a good opportunity to chat about the tour so far, and what lies ahead.

Meals: Breakfast - Day 5: Swakopmund - Namib Naukluft Park
- After breakfast the tour will continue south along the coast to the port of Walvis Bay, joining a catamaran cruise sailing in and around the bay. Dolphins and seals often accompany the boats and the amazing marine life is complemented by the prolific birdlife, notably pelicans and flamingos. Departure time from Walvis Bay is scheduled around 13h00 and the journey continues into the desert, arriving at the beautiful Namib Naukluft Lodge during the late afternoon. Situated between the small settlements of Solitaire and Sesriem, this lodge is located on a private 13,000ha farm and set amongst a background of stunning granite hills.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner. - Day 6: Sossusvlei
- The early morning start is worth the effort as is the climb to the top of the highest dunes in the world. Capture the surrounding scenery on camera and watch out for beetles and lizards that scurry around the sand. A picnic breakfast will be served under the shade of an ancient camelthorn tree, with visits to 'Dead Vlei' and Sesriem Canyon following your spectacular trip to the towering dunes of Sossusvlei. After lunch at the lodge, it is time to relax with a refreshing dip in the pool. The 'sundowner drive' to the natural marble mountains near the lodge is the perfect ending to the day!

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner - Day 7: Namib Naukluft Park - Windhoek
- It's time to bid farewell to the desert and head back to Namibia's capital city. Scheduled arrival time is around lunch time, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Windhoek, where the Quick Trip Namibia draws to a close!
