1
Khorab Safari Lodge |
You will be collected from your accommodation in Windhoek and travel north via Okahandja, which is home of the Herero. We have the opportunity to visit the graves of their great chiefs. We also visit the handicraft market. Afterwards we continue North to Otavi via Otjiwarongo where we stop for lunch (on own account). We arrive at the lodge during mid afternoon. The Khorab Lodge offers a personal service in a relaxed atmosphere. Superb a la Carte meals of ostrich, local cuisine and vegetarian dishes are served and complimented with a wide selection of South African wines. |
|
2
Poppa Falls |
Today we pass the veterinary fence to the rural Africa towards the Kavango region and its capital town Rundu. This is the “water-rich” part of the country. Here we have a complex of rivers carrying water throughout the year and a high summer rainfall making this a fertile wilderness of riverside forests, flood plains, swamps and open woodland. This is a true bird’s paradise and a dream for freshwater angling enthusiasts. Towards sunset we participate on a cruise on the river. The Marunga River Lodge is situated 10km south of the Popa Falls in the western part of the Caprivi Strip. |

3
East Caprivi |
Undertake a game drive along the floodplains of Mahango Game Park. See Popa Falls Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner |
|
4
East Caprivi |
Enjoy a full day at the lodge. A cruise on the Kwando River as well as a game drive are planned. The area is well known for its variety of bird life.

5
Chobe River |
Today the route takes us via Katima Mulilo to the major center of the Caprivian artists and craftspeople. We continue to Zambezi Lodge for a refreshment break (own account) and to complete the necessary forms for the border pass to Botswana. Upon arrival at the Kasane border post we are met by a representative of the King’s Den Lodge, who transfers us to the lodge by boat. Our arrival at the lodge will be during the late afternoon. During a sunset cruise on the Chobe River, we’ll hopefully see some elephant and buffalo. The King’s Den Lodge is situated on the banks of the Chobe River. |

6
Victoria Falls |
After the early morning activities at the lodge we are transferred back to the Kasane border post. On completing the necessary forms at the border we proceed through to Victoria Falls. The tour ends with our arrival at approximately 12:00. |
