This safari visits the famous Etosha National Park in northern Namibia. Measuring over 22,000 square kilometres, and home to hundreds of species, Etosha Game Reserve is one of Africa's largest and most impressive game parks. This safari is an excellent opportunity to view the magnificent wildlife within the Etosha park. Accommodation is at a minimum of 2 of the national park camps (Okaukuejo, Namutoni or Halali) depending on bookings during the busy season, we also try to follow animal migration routes whenever feasibly possible.
Etosha National Park, renowned as one of the best game reserves in Africa, is a haven for wildlife and supports one of the most important ecological and wildlife systems on the continent. At 22,270 km sq this huge park hosts an impressive collection of game including the white rhino and endangered black rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe and numerous species of antelope as well as an impressive 340 species of bird - enough to keep any nature and wildlife enthusiast happy.

Etosha National Park |
We collect you from your accommodation in Windhoek at 07h15 and the safari departs from Windhoek by 08h00. We stop briefly at Otjiwarongo for fresh supplies and have lunch at the entrance to Etosha National Park. On entering Etosha Park we safari game drive to camp and if time permits we go for a further game drive for 2 hours before sunset. Overnight camping. Dinner prepared by the guide with assistance from apprentice guide and the evening is spent around the campfire or at the floodlit waterhole by the camp which is often popular with many species of game including black rhino and elephant (seasonal) |

Etosha National Park |
Today there are early morning and late afternoon game drives looking for the huge herds of zebra, springbok and wildebeest, the elegant giraffe and of course, the predators that follow them. We spend the hottest part of the day at camp either by the waterhole or the swimming pool. We will also visit the Etosha Pan, one translation meaning “Great White Place” and here you can experience the vastness of this pan and marvel at the shimmering mirages and distant horizons. Overnight camping. Dinner prepared by guide with assistance from apprentice guide and evening spent around the campfire or at the floodlit waterhole |

Onguma Camp |
Early morning and late afternoon game drives. We spend the hottest part of the day at camp either by the waterhole or the swimming pool. Overnight camping just 5KM outside the Etosha National Park. Dinner prepared by guide and camp assistant and evening spent around the campfire. |

Windhoek |
After breakfast we game drive to the Etosha National Park exit and continue on to Windhoek via the craft market at Okahandja. |
