This 15 day budget camping safari visits the highlights of southern Namibia: the Fish River Canyon, Luderitz and Sossusvlei. The safari then continues via Swakopmund and then to Etosha National Park and Bushmanland in northern Namibia. From there the safari heads into Botswana where it visits the Okavango Delta before returning to Namibia and heading to Livingstone through the Caprivi strip.
The safari ends in the town of Livingstone on the Zambian side of the famous Victoria Falls.

Quiver Tree Forest |
We collect you from your accommodation at 7.45 and the safari departs from Windhoek at 8.30am. We travel south passing through the "window to the south" and crossing the Tropic of Capricorn. We stop at Mariental for fresh supplies before having a roadside lunch. We arrive at Quiver Tree Forest late afternoon and have time to relax and explore the quiver tree forest and rock formations. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Evening spent around camp fire. Lunch and dinner are included. |

Klein Aus Vista |
Depart camp early with a short stop in Keetmanshoop for fresh supplies. Arrive at Hobas at the Fish River Canyon in the mid morning, walk the rim of the canyon and visit the main viewpoints, we have lunch at the canyon rim. This afternoon we drive through to our rustic bungalow in the Aus Mountains overlooking the Namib Desert. Overnight remote bush bungalow (multi-share) or camping Dinner prepared by the safari guide with group assistance. Evening around camp fire. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. |

Klein Aus Vista |
The safari departs from Klein Aus for Luderitz day trip. We arrive at Kolmanskop for a guided tour of the ghost town in the desert dunes, and then explore Luderitz. After lunch we drive out to Diaz Point and look for the penguins on Halifax Island. We return to Klein Aus late afternoon, stopping at the viewing hide for the feral horses of the Namib. This evening your guide prepares dinner over the camp fire with group assistance. Overnight camping or remote bush bungalow (multi-share). Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. |

Sesriem |
Leisurely departure for the scenic drive to Sesriem the closest campsite to the dunes at Sossusvlei and we have lunch en-route in the Namib desert. We arrive at camp mid afternoon and do a late afternoon walk through the desert from Elim's Dune. Overnight camping and dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. |

Sesriem |
Pre dawn departure from camp to drive to Sossusvlei, we watch the sunrise from this spectacular and unique area. Mid morning brunch after exploring the different vlei's. Walk to Dead Vlei before returning to camp for a swim and a rest. This afternoon we visit Sesriem Canyon. Overnight camping and dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. |

Swakopmund |
After an early breakfast there is a leisurely drive through the Namib Desert to the lagoon at Walvis Bay. Here we look for the many aquatic birds that make their home here such as flamingos, pelicans, avocets, cormorants and many more. We arrive at our bungalows in Swakopmund for lunch and you have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy optional activities, these include:

Windhoek |
After breakfast you have the morning at leisure to enjoy optional activities such as sand boarding or just explore the town and enjoy a coffee and cake in one of the many cafes. After lunch at the seaside your vehicle will return to Windhoek. |

Etosha National Park |
We depart from Windhoek at 8h00am. We stop briefly at Otjiwarongo for fresh supplies and have lunch at the entrance to the park. We game drive to the camp in the Etosha National Park and if time permits game drive for 2 hours before sunset. Overnight camping. Dinner prepared by the guide with group assistance and evening is spent around the campfire or at the floodlit waterhole by the camp. (L,D) |

Etosha National Park |

Bushmanland |
early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast, we travel via lake Otjikoto and Hoba Meteorite to Grootfontein for fresh supplies. We arrive mid afternoon and walk with a San tracker to collect bush foods. This evening we join the local community around the campfire for singing and dancing. Overnight camping. Guma Lagoon Camp |
very early start to travel via Tsumkwe and into the Kalahari Desert, Botswana. Our sandy track takes us through the heart of the Kalahari to the edge of the Okavango Delta. The last 13 kms are 4x4 only and some pushing maybe required, but the jewel of the Kalahari awaits us at the end of the day. Overnight camping and evening meal prepared by the guide with group assistance. (B,L,D)

Okavango Delta |
we take only what we need and depart in the early morning into the Okavango Delta in our mokoros, we relax while our polers push us through this beautiful and unique area. We will also have the opportunity to game walk and we bush camp on an island tonight with no facilities. Overnight bush camping and evening meal prepared by the guide with group assistance (B,L,D).

Guma Lagoon Camp |

Bumhill / Susuwe National Park |
The safari has an early start to cross the border back into Namibia and onto Mahango Game Reserve. This little jewel of a game reserve is home to many unusual species such as roan and sable antelope, buffalo, large herds of elephant, hippo and many aquatic birds not found in the southern part of Namibia. We leave the park and have lunch overlooking the Popa Falls before continuing through the Caprivi Strip to Susuwe National Park. This is a wild park where we camp without fences and spend an exhilarating night listening to the night sounds of the animals. Livingstone - Zambia |
leisurely breakfast and short game drive before heading through to Katima Mulilo. This busy and bustling town is the last frontier of Namibia and we glimpse our first sight of the mighty Zambezi River. We cross the border into Zambia and have lunch on the banks of the Zambezi. We arrive at Livingstone mid afternoon and we drop you at your accommodation.
