This is the grandfather of budget camping safaris in Namibia. If you are on your first visit to Namibia, this is still the one 'essential' safari. In seven days this safaris takes in the following sites: Waterberg, Etosha National Park, Damaraland and Swakopmund. These are the traditional highlights of northern Namibia and this safari joined together with its Southern Namibia counterpart are the ideal start to your Namibian adventure.

Swakopmund |
We collect you from your accommodation at 7.45am and the safari departs from Windhoek at 8.30am. We arrive in Swakopmund for lunch. This afternoon we visit the lagoon at Walvis Bay, Pelican Point and view the salt works. Optional activities such as quad-biking and tandem parachuting are also available. Overnight bungalows on twin share basis. Breakfast and lunch are included. |

Spitzkoppe |
This morning you have free time to visit the Swakopmund museum, explore the town, visit the aquarium or partake in optional activities such as sand boarding and quadbiking. After lunch we depart for Spitzkoppe and arrive late afternoon and set up camp. Dinner prepared by the guide with group assistance. Evening spent under a million stars. Overnight remote bush camp. Aba Huab |
We have an early morning guided walk to Bushman’s Paradise. Our drive through to our camp takes us through some beautiful and dramatic landscapes and we keep our eyes peeled for the rare and elusive desert elephant. We arrive at camp mid afternoon and have lunch, the rest of the afternoon is spent at Twyfelfontein where we take a local guide to explore this unique area. We also visit the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain near sunset. Dinner prepared by your guide with group assistance. (B, L, D) |

Okaukuejo - Etosha National Park |
After breaking camp we pick up fresh supplies at Outjo and then head on to the Etosha National Park gate for lunch. We then game drive to camp and after setting up our tents we take a late afternoon game safari visiting many waterholes and looking for species such as elephant, lion, rhino, kudu, giraffe, springbok, zebra and many more. Dinner prepared by your guide with group assistance. Night time viewing at flood lit waterhole. (B, L, D). While in Etohsa we stay at one (or ussualy two) of the following restcamps: Okaukuejo, Halali or Namutoni |

Namutoni - Etosha National Park |
A sunrise departure from camp for a full morning game drive. Transit across the Etosha Park visiting various waterholes along the way. We spend the hottest part of the day at Halali camp where we have lunch and enjoy a swim or an afternoon snooze. Late afternoon game drive to Namutoni via the famous Etosha Pan. Dinner prepared by your safari guide with group assistance. Night time viewing at flood lit waterhole. (B, L, D) |

Once again we are up early for a sunrise game drive and then return to camp for breakfast. We have a short stop at Lake Otjikoto or Lake Guinas before proceeding to Otjiwarongo for fresh supplies Late afternoon the safari arrives at Waterberg Plateau where we will set up camp for the night. Witness the fabulous colours of the lichen growing on the rock face of the plateau at sunset. Dinner prepared by your guide with group assistance. (B, L, D) |

This morning you can hike the many short trails at the base of Waterberg Plateau and your guide will lead you to the top of the plateau for a stunning view of the Kalahari. After brunch we return to Windhoek via the Okahandja Craft Markets for those last minute gifts. We arrive in Windhoek where you can enjoy an after safari drink and share your memories of your safari.
