This combination of safaris visits two of Namibia's tribal groups the Himba and San People, it also spends time on the Skeleton Coast and visits the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
Please note: The order of this itinerary varies one week it runs as outlined below and on alternate weeks starts at day 8 and ends on day 7.

You will be collected from your accommodation in Windhoek at 6.45am, and drive through to Otjiwarongo for fresh supplies. After a roadside lunch we arrive at Omatako campsite mid afternoon. This evening we join the Bushmen around the campfire for singing and dancing. Dinner is prepared by your guide with group assistance. Evening spent around the campfire with the bushmen. (L,D) |

An early morning bush walks with a San tracker after breakfast. We drive through Bushmanland and the regional capital of Tsumkwe. Roadside lunch in Botswana and we arrive at camp in the Western Delta late afternoon. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Evening spent around the campfire. (B, L, D) |

A full day mokoro trip with poler on the Okavango Delta in Botswana looking for hippos, crocodiles, and many species of birds. Dinner prepared by the guide with group assistance. Evening spent around the campfire. (B, L, D) |

After breakfast we return to Namibia and game drive in Mahango Game Reserve, we have lunch on the floodplains of the Okavango River under the giant baobab trees. We set up camp on the banks of the Okavango River and have the afternoon to relax. Evening sunset cruise optional. Evening meal cooked by guide with group assistance. (B, L, D) |

Leisurely breakfast and we drive towards Rundu where we stop at the local market to meet some interesting characters. After a roadside lunch we also stop at the many craft markets along the road and learn a little about Kavango lifestyles. This evening we camp by a floodlit waterhole and have the chance to see game such as zebra and eland as they come to drink. Evening meal cooked by the guide with group assistance. (B, L, D) |

We drive south through Grootfontein and Otijiwarongo before returning to Windhoek via the Okahandja Craft Market. Overnight accommodation at Chameleon on a twin share basis. (B, L) |

The full day is at leisure to explore the city, relax by the pool or enjoy a optional day tour such as mountain biking, cats tour or township tour. Lunch and evening meal at own expense. Overnight @ Chameleon on a twin share basis. (B) |

After an early start we leave have a short stop at Otjiwarongo for fresh produce. We arrive at Otjitotongwe Cheetah Farm by lunchtime and set up camp near the cheetah enclosure. We learn about tame and captive cheetah and the impact they have in commercial farming areas. The evening is spent around the campfire. (L, D) |

This morning we continue north and find our first Himba people en-route to Opuwo, the regional centre of Kaokoland. We set up camp and then take a local Himba guide with us and explore the area surrounding Opuwo looking for traditional villages of these fascinating people. Through our local guide we ask questions and get an insight into the lives of these still traditional people and how they cope with the 21st century. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Early departure for the drive south to Damaraland, we make some short stops en-route before making our way to Ongongo Waterfall, a thermal spring, for lunch and an afternoon dip. We then drive south through Damaraland looking for many species of animal such as giraffe, oryx, springbok, mountain zebra and elephant. The natural oasis by the camp is a favourite haunt for rare and elusive desert elephant. Evening spent around the campfire. (B, L, D) |

We game drive towards the Skeleton Coast National Park where we have the whole day to explore this remote and isolated stretch of coast. You will have the opportunity to walk along this remote and harsh coastline looking for relics washed up during the storms. This area is famous for it’s shipwrecks and linear oasis where we find small game. Short stop at the Cape Cross seal colony as we head south. We camp on the beach tonight and listen to the roar of the Atlantic Ocean. Evening meal cooked by guide with group assistance. (B, L, D) |

We stop at Henties Bay for some fresh produce before heading inland to the famous Brandberg. This afternoon we take a game drive to search for desert elephant, black rhino and other animals that inhabit this region. Evening meal cooked by the guide with group assistance. (B, L, D) |

This morning we take a guided walk to the White Lady bushman painting. We return to Windhoek via the Okahandja Craft Market for those last minute curios. Arrival in Windhoek approximately 4.00pm. Share your memories over a drink with your fellow travellers. (B, L) |
