Day
Route/Activities
Day 1
Omatako Community Camp
Your safari guide picks you up at your accommodation in Windhoek. We travel north towards Grootfontein, travelling mostly through commercial farmland. Omatako, a community-run camp in Bushmanland, is our host tonight.

Day 2
Community Camp
Today we visit local Bushman villages where an experienced escort introduces us to this fascinating culture and how it functions. We camp at a Bushman village, close to the Botswana border.

Day 3
Sikereti / Kaudom
Nearing the Kaudom Game Park, we take time to visit flat pans and giant Baobab Trees. Our camp tonight is Sikereti, where numerous game species may be seen. Listen for Hyena and lions calling in the night...

Day 4
Sikereti
Based at Sikereti we explore the dense and bushy surroundings, visiting waterholes on the search for various animals.

Day 5
Kaudom
Travelling north we head for Kaudom, the park's main camp. The area we traverse includes large herds of elephant, as well as lion and Hyena.

Day 6
Kaudom
Based at Kaudom we set out to explore this area that features marshy pans, reed-beds and open sandy plains. Game and bird-life is plentiful.

Day 7
Nkwazi Lodge
Heading into the Kavango we leave Kaudom behind to reach the Okavango River. We make our way to N'Kwazi Lodge, close to Rundu. Gaze upon a spectacular sunset while on a boat cruise, or simply relax at the pool.

Day 8
Nkwazi Lodge
A relaxing day, we stay at N'Kwazi to explore the river by boat, focusing on riverine wildlife and various bird life. Hippos are frequently seen.

Day 9
Roy's Camp
Making our way south, we travel through the Kavango region, typified by numerous indigenous villages and beautiful handicrafts sold at roadside stalls. Roy's Camp is our overnight destination, which offers good facilities and a water hole where game congregates.

Day 10
Slowly making our way home, we stop for interesting features and vistas on the way.
