On this fly-in safari, you will spend four nights in the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Here you will take a scenic drive by Land Rover, accompanied by an experienced guide who will introduce you to the many facets of NamibRand. Other excursions include a guided 4x4 tour to Sossusvlei, with the highest sand dunes on earth.

Meet your pilot at Eros Airport at 08:30 and commence on a scenic flight along the Naukluft mountains to Wolwedans, situated in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. After a tea break at the farmhouse you will go on a short introductory tour of the NamibRand arriving at the lodge for a light lunch. Wolwedans Dunes Lodge provides the ambience of a tented camp, but gives the comfort and protection of a permanent building. The entire lodge is constructed on wooden platforms and overlooks panoramic vistas in all directions, capturing the desert in an intimate and memorable way. The lodge accommodates only 18 guests in spacious chalets, which are directly accessible from the main complex by a wooden walkway. In the afternoon you will go on a scenic drive by Land Rover, accompanied by an experienced guide who will introduce you to the many facets of NamibRand Nature Reserve's desert habitat with its manifold fauna and flora. You will arrive back at the lodge in time for sundowners and a marvellous candlelight dinner under a blanket of stars. Overnight at Wolwedans Dunes Lodge on a full board basis. |
| 2 | Today, enjoy morning and afternoon excursions in the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Travelling through belts of vegetated red dunes, endless grassy plains and along mystical mountain formations, you encounter large and small desert animals and learn about their unique habits. Lunch is served at the lodge. (On occasion the lodge may arrange a day safari with picnic lunch.) Overnight at Wolwedans Dunes Lodge on a full board basis. |

After breakfast spend the rest of the morning at leisure before you are transferred to the Wolwedans airstrip for a low level scenic flight over the Namib Desert to Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge. The lodge accommodates only 20 guests in intimate exclusivity and is situated in the northern reaches of the private NamibRand Nature Reserve, encompassing 180 000 hectares of pristine desert wilderness for residents only. This afternoon the resident naturalist will take you on a 4x4 excursion to explore the open grass plains, fossilised sand dunes and red sand dune belts of the NamibRand. The excursion ends in the dunes with sundowners and a spectacular desert sunset against the towering Naukluft mountain range. Overnight at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in a twin bedded desert suite with en suite facilities on a full board basis, including activities. |
| 4 | Early this morning, we set out on a guided 4x4 excursion to Sossusvlei, site of the highest sand dunes on earth. The sight of the undulating sea of sand dune mountains is so beautiful it will be etched in your mind forever. In the afternoon we return to the NamibRand and continue its exploration on foot or by 4x4 quad bike. Return to the lodge for dinner and for star lovers, there is a chance to revel in the desert's glittering night skies aided by a high powered computerised telescope in the lodge's custom-built star gazing facility. Overnight at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge on a full board basis, including activities. |
| 5 | Last glimpses of the desert on a morning desert excursion in the NamibRand before breakfast. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airstrip from where you will travel by light aircraft to Eros Airport. |
