This four day fishing safari is ideal for someone that only has a few days available to wet their lines in the Atlantic Ocean. You will be based in Swakopmund for the duration of your safari. The 300km long coast between Sandwich Harbour and the Ugab River mouth offers excellent angling spots. Ski-boat angling will give you the opportunity to fish behind the first surf break. Species like Cob, West Coast Steenbras, Blacktail and sharks can be caught throughout the year.

After arriving at Walvis Bay or Swakopmund airport, your guide will be transfer you to your accommodation in Swakopmund. After settling into your accommodation, you will have time for a short tour of Swakopmund. There are many good restaurants in Swakopmund where you can dine on your own account. Start your angling holiday with ski-boat angling between Swakopmund and Mile 14. The boat will be launched either from Swakopmund Mole or Mile 17. Expected catches are Cob, Black tail, West Coast Steenbras, Catfish and various species of shark (cow sharks and bronze whalers being the most common). Accommodation: Guest House or Pension (B) |

Today you will try your hand at surf angling along the 300km coastline of the West Coast Recreation Area. Try your luck at all the best fishing spots along the coast; be it at Rondeklip, Blare, Bennie se Rooi Lorrie (Bennie’s Red Truck) or even Sarah se Gat. Accommodation: Guest House or Pension (B) |
