Moon Landscape |
We start our journey at midday (12h00 Wintertime and 13h00 Summertime) and drive along the Swakop Riverbed past the big Ana trees and the interesting ringing stones. With a bit of luck we might see some of the very scarce desert wildlife, like oryx and springbok. Our first overnight camp will be at the ringing stones on the edge of the countless valleys also called the large moon landscape. Accommodation: Camping (dinner) |

Khan River |
Early in the morning after a healthy breakfast, we will ride through the moon valleys towards the oasis of Goanikontes, where we will take a rest for lunch at the huge rock water pool. In the afternoon we will ride on into the Khan river, where the night camp will already be prepared by our support team. Accommodation: Camping (B, L, D) |

Namib Naukluft Park |
Today we ride across into the Namib Naukluft reserve, home of the Welwitchia mirabilis, one of the oldest living plants (Approx. 1 500 years). The rest of the day we will spend riding into the hidden canyons and some of the caves in the area. Before the night falls, we will return back to the same camp site to enjoy peace under the desert skies. Accommodation: Camping (B, L, D) |

Goanikontes Oasis |
After breakfast, we’ll ride our horses back to the Goanikontes Oasis, where this time we will have more time for cooling off in the cold waters of the rock pool. Tonight our camp will be here at the Oasis. Accommodation: Camping (B, L, D) |

Safari ends |
The last day will be an easy ride past the burnt mountain of Nuberoffkop, over the moon landscape, back to the base. (B) |
