Challenge the cold waters of the Atlantic for the most exciting angling experience of your life. Fight a 150kg shark for two hours, or land any of the many other species of shark and edible fish waiting to be caught.
Shark fishing can be done from boats or from the beach. The proffesional anglers suggest that you try shark fishing from the beach as the fight is better and much more exciting.
Beach Fishing covers the area from Sandwich Harbour south of Walvis Bay northward up to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. It is not only about the fishing as throughout the day you will see dolphins cruising past along the shoreline, curious seals coming to see what you are up to, pelicans waddling up in the hope of a snack and flamingoes sunning themselves on the beach. It is a magnificent setting for some of the best angling experiences offered worldwide.
