Introduction: Small Hoppers (Platylesches tina) inhabit riverine bush or wooded bushveld regions. They fly around the lower areas of trees on the upper slopes of well-wooded hills.
Distribution: Caprivi Strip .
Breeding/Larval: Single eggs are laid on the shoots of the mobola plum (Parinari curateellifolia), an evergreen tree with reddish to dull brown wood.
Colouration: Dark ground colouring with light patches on both sets of wings.
On the wing: September to October and from January to April.
Wingspan: 25 to 30mm.
